DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/30/18): NBA DFS Lineups

Well, this should be interesting. We received news on Monday evening that Blake Griffin will be traded to the Pistons in exchange for Tobias Harrisa and Avery Bradley. There are other pieces involved too, but those are the most DFS relevant pieces. For the sake of this article, I'm going to assume that none of those players involved will play on Tuesday.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/30/18. I'll provide my favorite plays at each position based on price vs. expectations. I'll also mention some possible GPP plays to take a chance on.

As always, hit me up on Twitter @BellRoto with any questions or comments at any time. I always try to answer as soon as possible. Good luck!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Lou Williams - PG/SG, vs. POR ($8,200)

With Blake Griffin out of town, there will be plenty of usage to go around in Los Angeles; as if Lou Williams needed any more. The scoring guard has chucked up 59 shots and 27 three pointers in the last three games. He's also adding in a few peripherals here and there. Portland is a fairly neutral matchup for scoring guards like Sweet Lou, and he realistically should be a $9,000 player in this spot.

Stanley Johnson - SG/SF, vs. CLE ($3,900)

With a bunch of Pistons getting shipped out, Detroit will be short of bodies on the wing. I could see Stanley Johnson playing at least 35 minutes while he helps to patch together the rotation. We saw him take 15 shots and and rack up a bunch of peripheral stats on the way to 30 DK points in the last game against the Cavs, and his price only went up $200. This seems like a really safe spot with tons of upside. Johnson will likely get blowout run too if the game gets ot of hand.

Other Guards to Consider: James Harden, Jrue Holiday, Elfrid Payton, Tomas Satoransky

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF/C - vs. SAC ($11,400)

I will keep riding this play until Anthony Davis gets over $12,000. The 17 rebounds he pulled down last game is more than sustainable with DeMarcus Cousins out of the picture. I mean are Dante Cunningham and/or Darius Miller going to steal boards from him? The Brow is a walking 60-burger until further notice, and there should be plenty of value to make him the focal point of your stars and scrubs builds tomorrow.

Jarrett Allen - PF/C - @ NYK ($3,800)

It's about time the Nets give in and unleash Jarrett Allen. He may not be the future face of the franchise, but he's certainly better than Tyler Zeller. With Rondae Hollis-Jefferson out, Allen will be forced to play extra minutes in a spot that his size was already going to be needed against the bigger Knicks front court. It makes sense that 20 minutes would be the floor here, and that makes 25 DK points very much in reach. Fire up Allen as a fine punt play on Tuesday.

Other Forwards to Consider: Paul George, Markieff Morris, Wesley Johnson, Anthony Tolliver

DraftKings DFS Centers

DeAndre Jordan - C - vs. POR ($6,800)

I bet you saw this one coming. With Griffin no longer on the team, DeAndre Jordan will resume his massive rebound upside that we saw during Griffin's injury stints earlier in the year. He'll also undoubtably get a few extra shots too. If it makes you feel any better, this recent move is likely a commitment to Jordan for the long haul, at least that's my line of thinking, so Doc Rivers should try to get him more involved offensively. Look for more high post plays run through DJ similarly to what Detroit has been doing with Drummond this year. I like DJ at this sub-7k price point 10 times out of 10.

Other Centers to Consider: Jonas Valanciunas, Zach Randolph
