DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/27/18): NBA DFS Lineups

FanDuel DraftKings daily fantasy basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on January 27, 2018. Tom Vecchio's NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a six game NBA slate, which is a good size for a Saturday and there are some interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/27/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @DFS_Tom on Twitter. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. Let's get to it.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Jeff Teague - PG, MIN vs BKN (DK - $6,300)

Teague is up against the Nets, who play at a very fast pace and are weak defensively, so you want to attack them anytime they are on the slate. Teague has scored 36 DraftKings points or more in two of his last three games, and is in a spot to repeat that performance, since the Nets are giving up 48 DraftKings points per game to point guards, which is third worst in the league. As of right now, Jimmy Butler is still listed as questionable for this game, and when he is off the floor, Teauge has a 26% usage rate, and is averaging 0.99 fantasy points per minute.

Victor Oladipo - SG, IND vs ORL (DK - $9,400)

Oladipo is up against his former team in the Magic tonight, so if you like a bit of a revenge spot then this is for you. The Magic are giving up 43 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards, which is fourth worst in the league, so a great spot for him. He is the go to guy on offense for the Pacers, as is shown by his 32.8% usage rate, along with averaging 1.18 fantasy points per minute this season. Oladipo is good for any format tonight, since the match up is great, and he has plenty of pure scoring upside.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Josh Richardson - SF, MIA vs CHA (DK - $6,200)

The Heat are dealing with a ton of injuries this season, and Richardson has stepped into more playing time, which has lead to more fantasy value. He has scored 26 or more DraftKings points in eight of his last 10 games, so he makes a nice mid-range cash game option for tonight. He has a 21% usage rate and is averaging 0.75 fantasy points per minute. Those numbers may not be the highest, but Richardson can chip in with plenty of assists and rebounds, so he isn't dependent on pure scoring in order to reach value. He is up against the Hornets, who are giving up 44 DraftKings points per game to small forwards, which is third worst in the league.

Bismack Biyombo - PF, ORL @ IND (DK - $6,300)

Biyombo has scored 21 or more DraftKings points in five of his last six games, with two of those games over 45 points. He is seeing a ton of minutes ever since Nikola Vucevic has been out, but that means his price has also increased. There is some merit to fading him at this price, but the match up is so good. He is up against the Pacers, who are giving up 47 DraftKings points per game to power forwards, so there is some nice upside with this match up. This game has an over-under of 213 points, so we should see plenty of offense to go around.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, DEN vs DAL ($8,900)

Jokic has scored 42 or more DraftKings points or more in three straight games, and is still too cheap. This is a player who was over $10K parts of last season, so if that is his ceiling, you want to buy in while he is at this price. He has double-double and even some triple-double potential on most nights, making him a great tournament play. Jokic is up against the Mavericks, who are very bad at rebounding, putting him in a great spot. The Mavericks are giving up 52 DraftKings points per game to centers, so with Jokic averaging 1.25 fantasy points per minute, he has a chance to really rack up some points tonight.
