DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (1/10/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on January 10, 2018. Tom Vecchio's NBA DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have an 11 game NBA slate, which is a good size for a Wednesday and there are some very interesting options across the board. There are a number of injuries going around, so this should open up some value plays once we get the starting lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/10/18. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @DFS_Tom on Twitter. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. Let's get to it.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Tyreke Evans - PG/SG, MEM vs NO (DK - $8,300)

If you like a good revenge narrative, then Evans is the play for you tonight. He is up against his former team the Pelicans tonight, who are giving up 43 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards, putting Evans in a great spot. He has a 30.6% usage rate, and is averaging 1.16 fantasy points per minute, both of which are highest on the Grizzles. We have seen many times in these revenge situations where the noted player will take a few extra shots against his former team, which can give him plenty of upside in GPPs because of the extra usage. He is already a good cash game option because of his consistency, and now with the revenge spot, he can be a fun GPP play.

John Wall - PG, WAS vs UTA (DK - $8,500)

Wall is still a bit too cheap considering the ceiling he truly has, so anytime you can get a player on the cheap, you want to take advantage of it. Wall has scored 45 or more DraftKings points in four straight games, and is up against the Jazz, who are giving up 47 DK points per game to point guards. Wall has a 29.5% usage rate and is averaging 1.18 fantasy points per minute this season. He is good for any format, since he has shown the consistency of late, and has a very favorable match up. With so many high priced point guards on the full slate, Wall shouldn't be too highly owned, giving him upside in tournaments.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris - SF, DET @ BKN (DK - $6,900)

Harris has scored 42 DraftKings points in two straight games, so we want to ride the hot hand. Harris is up against the Nets, who play at a fast pace, and are weak defensively, which is a fantastic combo for DFS. Extra possession against a bad team is never a bad thing, so you want to roster against them. Harris has a 24% usage rate, and is averaging 0.93 fantasy points per game, which is great production out of a player at his price. The Nets are giving up 40 DraftKings points per game, which is in the bottom half for the league.

Montrezl Harrell - PF, LAC @ GS (DK - $4,200)

Harrell is coming of a game where he put up a big dud, so some DFS players might be afraid to roster him. Besides the one bad game, he put up 27 DK points in 32 minutes, and then 14 DK points in just 11 minutes. The production per minute is there for him, and is now up against the Warriors who are giving up 47 DraftKings points per game to power forwards. At his price, he really only needs 21 DK points in order to reach 5x value. If you embrace the variance, you can capitalize on his production per minute for GPPs.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, DEN vs ATL (DK - $8,600)

Jokic is coming off a big 63 point performance the other night against Golden State, so we want to ride the momentum to another big performance. He has a 24% usage rate, and is chipping in with 1.23 fantasy points per minute. He is still too cheap compared to what he really should be, and what we saw him at last season. This is a good time to buy low on him before he price jumps up. Jokic is up against the Hawks who are giving up 55 DraftKings points per game to centers, which is second worst in the league.

Also consider: Clint Capela - C, HOU vs POR (DK - $6,800)
