DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (12/17/17): NBA DFS Advice

The top DraftKings daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for 12/17/17 by Tom Vecchio. Expert NBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings.

After a big slate last night, we have moved to another small Sunday slate. The leagues start at 3:30 PM EST, so make sure you get your lineups in before lock. There has already been injury news announced, as well, so keep an eye out for players that could potentially rest today.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/17/17. I play both cash and GPP, so I will be looking for both players who have consistency, along with value plays that have upside from a favorable match up, or other factors.

If you have any questions or comments, let me know @BalesSJustin on Twitter. Let's get to it.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Victor Oladipo - PG/SG, at BKN ($9,300)

Oladipo has been enjoying a breakout campaign, including over the last 10 days. Over that span, he is averaging 30.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. He has been locked into big minutes, and he gets an elite matchup against a fast paced Brooklyn Nets team. It took Oladipo only 24.3 minutes to score 41.75 fantasy points against Brooklyn in their only matchup this season. He makes an elite option on the smaller slate.

Jose Calderon - PG, at WAS ($3,800)

Calderon has been playing bigger minutes for the Cavs recently, and he has looked great in those minutes. Over his last four games, he is averaging 23.9 fantasy points in 26.3 minutes per game. Dwyane Wade has already been ruled out for this game, meaning Calderon will likely see an uptick in minutes once again. He is not a great player anymore, but he does not need many fantasy points to his value. This game will be fairly fast paced and feature plenty of scoring, making Calderon a great salary relief option.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

LeBron James - SF/PF, at WAS ($11,800)

James is a "do it all" player, averaging 28.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, 11.8 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 2.2 steals per game over the last 10 days. He is the focal point of the offense, and he could see a slight uptick in usage rating tonight with Dwyane Wade resting. He has scored between 60 and 75 fantasy points in each of his last five games, and he scored a ridiculous 92.25 fantasy points against the Washington Wizards in their only matchup this season. James is an elite option tonight.

Allen Crabbe - SG/SF, vs IND ($4,400)

Crabbe is a play that is more based on minutes than production. Over the last 10 days, he is only averaging 20.4 fantasy points per game, but he is also averaging 32.4 minutes per game. He is a player that can score in a hurry, and this game is expected to be fast paced and high scoring. Crabbe only needed 26.5 minutes to score 28.3 fantasy points against the Pacers earlier this season. He does come with some risk, but he is a great option because of his low price tag and the limited numbers of games.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Myles Turner - C, at BKN ($6,700)

Turner has been playing well over his last five games, averaging 1.05 points per minute over that span. He gets a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, who love pushing the pace in games and rank 29th in the NBA against the center. In his only matchup against the Nets this season, Turner scored 21 points with 14 rebounds, two assists, and four blocks. The Nets do not have anyone that is going to be able to slow down Turner, making him a great option today.
