DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/25/18): MLB DFS Lineup

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on July 25th, 2018. Justin Bales' MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

There are 12 total games today, but they are broken into two slates. There is an eight game early slate and a four game late slate. This article will focus around the early slate, as there are significantly more options to choose from on that slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/25/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Danny Duffy - P, vs DET ($7,700)

Duffy has caught fire recently, posting a 4-2 record with a 2.76 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP over his last 10 starts. He has also scored 20+ fantasy points in six of his last 10 games, including five of his last six starts. Duffy is a player that comes with quite a bit of strikeout potential, as well. He gets a good matchup against the Detroit Tigers, who have struggled on the road this season. Duffy is a -115 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and he can be used in all leagues on this slate.

Luis Cessa - P, at TB ($6,300)

Cessa is expected to draw the start today. He performed well in his last start, scoring 21.9 fantasy points in six innings of work. He has been throwing as a relief pitcher for the majority of the season, but he has proven that he can work as a starter. He comes with plenty of strikeout potential for a low price tag, and he's a -154 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. He's a solid option in all leagues because of his price tag.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Paul Goldschmidt - 1B, at CHC ($4,600)

Goldschmidt is an option that can always be considered against left-handed pitching. He's hitting .308 against lefties this season, and he also features 0.112 wOBA and 0.145 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. Goldschmidt gets a matchup against Jon Lester today, and he can be used in all leagues.

Greg Garcia - 2B, at CIN ($2,900)

Garcia has struggled a bit this season, but he has generally performed well when given a full game worth of at-bats. He owns a 42% hard-hit rate with a 94 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days, as well. He's only expected to hit eighth in the Cardinals lineup, but they could score plenty of runs against Sal Romano. Garcia is a solid option in all leagues.

Matt Carpenter - 3B, at CIN ($5,400)

Carpenter continues to play at an elite level, hitting .455 with a 1.333 slugging percentage and a 1.894 OPS over his last 10 games. He has also recorded 13 extra-base hits (eight home runs) and 12 RBIs over that span. He gets a great matchup against Sal Romano, and Carpenter still comes with a surprisingly low price tag. He's a safe option in all leagues.

Addison Russell - SS, vs ARI ($3,500)

Russell tends to go overlooked, but he's an extremely consistent fantasy option. He has scored fantasy points in each of his last 10 games, although he has failed to display a ton of upside. Still, he gets a decent matchup against Robbie Ray, and Russell owns 0.102 wOBA and 0.079 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. He is an outstanding option in cash games tonight.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Aaron Judge - OF, at TB ($5,100)

Judge has been playing well over his last 10 games, recording a .317 average with a .439 slugging percentage and an .843 OPS over that span. He has struggled at times on the road this season, but Judge is still a high upside player. He features 0.013 wOBA and 0.082 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching, and he gets a solid matchup against Nathan Eovaldi today. Judge may be best suited for tournaments at the moment, though.

Matt Adams - OF, at MIL ($4,300)

Adams' power has been on full display recently, as he has his three home runs with a .531 slugging percentage over his last 10 games. He gets a decent matchup against Freddy Peralta in a hitter friendly stadium today, as well. Adams owns 0.084 wOBA and 0.139 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching, and he's a solid option in all leagues today.
