DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (5/10/19): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on May 10th, 2019. Tom Vecchio's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

A full 14-game slate tonight brings us plenty of options along with having Coors Field in play. We want to pay up for pitchers and pay up for hitters, so if you are rolling out multiple lineups, you are in a good spot.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/10/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Be sure to also check out all the Vegas Odds for today's slate. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Justin Verlander - P, HOU vs TEX (DK - $11,000)

Verlander is the best pitcher on the slate and you should be looking to have him in your cash games tonight. He comes in with seven or more strikeouts in five straight games and should be able to replicate that tonight versus the Rangers, who have a 23.4% strikeout rate this season versus right-handed pitchers. He is the most expensive pitcher on the slate and we also have Coors Field in action tonight, which can make things difficult in terms of roster construction.

Jake Odorizzi - P, MIN vs DET (DK - $8,800)

Odorizzi has been legit good this season and has allowed two or fewer earned runs in each of his last four starts. Odorizzi is facing off against the Tigers, whose current roster finished with an 84+ wRC+ against right-handed pitchers last season, which was dead last in the league. Odorizzi has six or more strikeouts in three of his last four starts, something he can do against this weak Tigers team.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Max Muncy - 1B, LAD vs WAS (DK - $4,900)

Muncy has 13 hits in his last 10 games with three home runs and a whopping 14 RBIs. He is averaging 12 DraftKings points in that span and is truly one of the best players in DFS right now. He has the platoon advantage against Anibal Sanchez, who is allowing a .388 wOBA to lefties this season.

Kolten Wong - 2B, STL vs PIT (DK - $3,900)

Wong has a great price tonight and offers just a bit of salary relief into your lineups to help you fit in some Coors Field hitters. He had a .328 wOBA and a .159 ISO versus right-handed pitchers last seasons which are truly solid numbers. He also had a 15% strikeout rate and isn't losing opportunities at the plate.

Manny Machado - 3B, SD @ COL (DK - $4,800)

Machado and the Padres are getting an automatic positive park shift being at Coors Field tonight and you should be looking to stack them in any lineups you can tonight. He comes in with .374 wOBA and a .242 ISO versus right-handed pitchers from last season.

Gleyber Torres - SS, NYY @ TB (DK - $3,600)

For some reason, Torres is very cheap tonight despite the fact he comes in with 13 hits, four RBIs, and one home run in his last 10 games. He isn't the most consistent hitter in the league and the Yankees have a negative park shift against them tonight, but he should really be more than 3.6K.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Kole Calhoun - OF, LAA @ BAL (DK - $4,800)

The Angels should be one of the more popular teams tonight since they are going up against Dan Straily, who is simply one of the worst pitchers on the slate and someone you want to stack against often. He allowed a .360 wOBA and a 1.48 HR/9 to left-handed hitters last season, so with the Angels getting a positive park shift, we want to look at them in GPPs tonight.

Domingo Santana - OF, SEA @ BOS (DK - $4,800)

The Mariners come in with an implied run total sitting at 3.94, which seems far too low considering they are one of the best offensive teams in the league and they are at a great hitter's park. They are up against Eduardo Rodriguez, who allowed 1.11 HR/9 and a 41% fly ball rate to right-handed hitters last season. Santana has a .387 ISO versus left-handed pitchers to start the season.
