DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/19/19): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on April 19th, 2019. Tom Vecchio's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a monster 14-game slate tonight which features only two pitchers above $10K along with Coors Field in action. The hitters at Coors Field should always be the target since the upside they bring is massive.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/19/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Jose Berrios - P, MIN @ BAL (DK - $10,800)

Berrios is one of the most expensive pitchers on tonight's slate and you should be looking to pay up for him in your cash games tonight. He is facing off against the Orioles whose current roster had an 82 wRC+ versus right-handed pitchers, which is dead last in the league. They also carried a 25% strikeout rate vs RHP, which was the fourth worst in the league last season, making this one of the best matchups on the entire slate. He has 28 strikeouts in 27 innings this season and is one of a few pitchers on this slate who have legit 10+ strikeout upside.

Jordan Lyles - P, PIT vs SF (DK - $7,900)

The price on Lyles tonight is very appealing since we have Coors Field on this slate and we want to load up on those hitters if we can. Lyles has 12 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched this season, but 10 of those strikeouts came in a single game. So we have a super strong recent performance but likely won't see it back up in double-digits tonight, since this Giants lineup only had a 20.3% strikeout rate versus right-handed pitchers last season.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Tony Wolters - C, COL vs PHI (DK - $3,500)

Wolters is cheap, Wolters is playing at Coors Field, and Wolters is great in a stack. It can be as simple as that if you want it to be, but also helps that he is up against Vince Velasquez, who allowed 1.67 homers per nine innings to left-handed hitters last season.

Paul Goldschmidt - 1B, STL vs NYM (DK - $4,800)

Goldy might be the single best play on the slate, regardless of position, regardless of price. He is up against Jason Vargas, who is simply one of the worst pitchers in the MLB, there is really no other way to put it. Vargas allowed a .359 wOBA, 1.92 homers per nine innings, and a 40% fly ball rate to right-handed hitters last season. We are talking multi-home run upside for Goldy tonight and is in play for all formats.

DJ LeMahieu - 2B, NYY vs KAN (DK - $3,900)

LeMahieu is actually kinda cheap tonight considering the Yankees have an implied team total set at 5.31 implied team total, which is the fourth highest on the slate and the second highest outside of Coors Field. He has nine hits, six RBIs, and three doubles in his last 10 games.

Max Muncy - 3B, LOS @ MIL (DK - $4,500)

Muncy had a .417 wOBA and a .334 ISO last season versus right-handed hitters and now gets a positive park shift being in Milwaukee tonight. The Dodgers are up against Jhoulys Chacin, who allowed 1.10 homers per nine innings and a 39% hard contact rate to lefties last season.

Carlos Correa - SS, HOU @ TEX (DK - $4,500)

Correa and the Astros are in Texas tonight which is one of the best hitter's parks in the league, which is why we see them coming in with an implied team total set at 5.48. He is up against Drew Smyly who allowed 1.61 homers per nine innings to right-handed hitters, but it was back in 2016, the last time he pitched in the majors.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Max Kepler - OF, MIN @ BAL (DK - $4,500)

Kepler and the Twins are getting a positive park shift being in Baltimore tonight and with Kepler having a .187 ISO versus right-handed pitchers last season, he has plenty of home run upside. Lower ownership is also a possibility tonight since there are 14 games in action.

Mallex Smith - OF, SEA @ LAA (DK - $4,400)

Smith is up against Felix Pena, who allowed a .338 wOBA, 1.25 homers per nine innings, and a 41% hard contact rate to left-handed hitters. The Mariners have a somewhat strong 4.62 implied run total which makes them a viable stacking option.
