We have reached Championship Week of the last great college football season. As per usual, The Pac-12 will host their final conference championship game on Friday night. This one has far-reaching implications for the rest of the weekend. It almost makes the CUSA tilt an afterthought. Almost.
Conference USA will start early out in Lynchburg, Virginia with Liberty hosting a team that they already beat at home this year back in Week 2. We end this in Vegas with Oregon trying to avenge their only loss to Washington, this time on a neutral field. Again...another playoff game before the playoffs. I'm sure going to miss that!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/1/23, locking at 7 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Michael Penix, Washington ($9,100)
Penix doubled up Bo Nix in touchdown passes in the first meeting in Seattle. We saw a different Bo Nix against the Beavers last week, but the Washington secondary will make Nix throw underneath more just as they did in the first game. Penix is going to make those deep passes to his very talented receivers. Nix might be a safer cash play, but I'm chasing the Penix upside in any GPP format.
Kaidon Salter, Liberty ($8,200)
Salter failed to throw more than one touchdown last week for the first time since Week 6 against Sam Houston. He also failed to score on the ground. A bust is possible with Salter, but he outscored all three other quarterbacks on this slate in the first meeting with the Aggies (34.34 DraftKings points). I can see using him as the only quarterback in your lineup if you really want to get different.
Also consider: Bo Nix, Oregon ($9,500)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Bucky Irving, Oregon ($6,900)
Irving was a wagon against the Huskies in the first meeting, logging a season-high 22 carries for 127 yards and hauling in six receptions. He only scored once, but the heavy usage in the passing game still netted him 31.1 DraftKings points. See what I mean about only using one QB on this slate? Nix and Diego Pavia didn't hit the mark in the first meeting and Nix is the most expensive player on the slate.
Dillon Johnson, Washington ($6,000)
Johnson also logged a 100-yard game against the Ducks in the first game. Irving was better, but I'll still take Johnson's 22 DraftKings points again for this price. Both backs should be heavily involved in every aspect of this game again.
Also consider: Quinton Cooley, Liberty ($6,300); Jordan James, Oregon ($4,500)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Rome Odunze, Washington ($7,400)
The Ducks couldn't cover Odunze in the first meeting. He hauled in eight passes for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Odunze has been getting warmed up for another meeting with the Ducks; he has two receiving touchdowns in each of the last three games and has topped 100 yards in all three of those. Do you dare fade him?
Troy Franklin, Oregon ($7,300)
I know...I know. I'm supposed to drop a tier here, but I'm not going to. There is plenty of value available on this slate to fit both Franklin and Odunze or you can run a one-QB lineup. Why would you do such a thing? Franklin notched 32.4 DraftKings points in the first meeting and Odunze had 35.8. That led all players in the first meetings of these two games. Franklin finished fourth. Both are significantly cheaper than Penix, Nix, and Salter.
CJ Daniels, Liberty ($5,100)
Daniels has only caught three passes in the last two games, but that's okay. UMass and UTEP are two of the worst teams in the country against the run, so Liberty ran. Daniels caught four passes for 129 yards and a score in the first meeting. That's enough for me to jump back on here at a discounted price.
Also consider: Ja'Lynn Polk, Washington ($6,700); Tez Johnson, Oregon ($6,600); Trent Hudson, New Mexico State ($4,500); Terrance Ferguson, Oregon ($3,600)
DraftKings CFB Stacks:
Liberty
Liberty rolled the Aggies in the first meeting. While the Aggies are playing much better now than they were then, DraftKings pricing makes it easy to stack the Flames and still have room for key pieces of the Washington/Oregon game. Salter and Daniels will be the most popular mini stack and it makes sense. Quinton Cooley did run for over 100 yards in the first meeting, but he didn't score. Salter poached two of his rushing touchdowns. Just one score from Cooley here could make a huge difference with most gravitating towards the bigger perceived workloads in the Pac-12 Championship.
Also consider: Washington, Oregon
