DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (11/10/18): NBA DFS Lineups

There are 10 games total today, but we are only going to focus on the main, 8-game slate. Tonight's games are not that appealing from an outside perspective and all but one are inter-conference games. This is good for competition and it gives us a good idea of what teams to really target today. Immediately, the Rockets/Spurs game jumps off the page. This will be a nothing short of a hard-fought game between both teams who don't want to lose. Both the Rockets and Spurs have seriously struggled thus far into the season, whether it be on defense or offense, they are looking to gain a playoff advantage with a win tonight. Luckily since the Rockets have lost most of their wing options, James Harden and Chris Paul are going to be solid options each night, especially tonight. The "Spurs defense" is more a charade than an actual thing now anyway.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/10/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.

Don't set your lineups to early and check player statuses prior to opening tip. Find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Collin Sexton - PG/SG CLE @ CHI ($4,900)

Collin Sexton will be lining up against...Cam Payne and Ryan Arcidiacono? Excellent. Nothing against Arcidiacono or Payne, but their defense is suspect and Sexton is in no danger of losing minutes. His stat lines are not the greatest and don't show his development or upside, but he's more than capable of hitting his projected tonight and because of the Bulls defense, he has explosion potential written all over him. Of course, this is a risky pick, but few players will be riding high on Sexton and I will be the one championing for his cause tonight. Do not be afraid to roster Jordan Clarkson as well.

Isaiah Canaan -  PG PHO @ NOP ($4,400)

This is a weak pick I know, but something tells me Isaiah Canaan is going to annoy the heck out of the Pelicans. Elfrid Payton and Jrue Holiday are a very intimidating backcourt defensively, but Payton is still recovering from his injury and is listed as questionable for the time being. This allows Canaan to see more run against Ian Clark or E'Twaun Moore, giving him a clear speed and offensive advantage. For as long as Canaan has been in the league, he's mostly underperformed, but he is also past the point of his career where he flails when playing good teams. The Pelicans are a beatable team, but they need to be beaten by the backcourt rather than opposing bigs. Canaan offers upside even if this game is a total blowout.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Harrison Barnes - SF/PF DAL vs. OKC ($5,300)

As a lower to mid-priced forward option, he provides more upside than Tristan Thompson and Larry Nance Jr., without sacrificing any extra price. Although the Thunder have been tough against DFS players this year, they still rank in the bottom 10 against small forwards and power forwards. Barnes has been heating up when it comes to scoring lately and even when Paul George decides to guard Barnes, he should still be able to get his shot off and get to the rim. The Mavericks have been slipping lately, but someone still has to produce and Barnes is one of the better scorers on the team despite the matchup.

Kelly Olynyk - PF MIA vs. WAS ($4,300)

The Wizards have been so bad it's dumb not to capitalize on their all-around shortcomings. This seems weird to say and it's had to give up on teams as a whole, but if the Wizards don't have any players shooting well, they simply will not win. Their defense is straight up bad, they don't have realistic depth and will struggle to stay consistent throughout the season, proven by their inability to stay consistent through the first four weeks. I trust the Wizards superstars to eventually find their groove, but defensively, they will have absolutely, no answer for Kelly Olynyk. It's already hard to guard someone who lives in the pick-and-roll and Olynyk's range makes it that more difficult. Whiteside has been playing well in the paint and if he continues that, Olynyk should have all the spacing he needs.

DraftKings DFS Center

Christiano Felicio - C CHI vs. CLE ($3,100)

I was split on taking Damian Jones over Christiano Felicio, but Jarrett Allen and the Nets frontcourt does scare me a bit. Granted Jones is a Warrior, but the Nets played Golden State to a good game last outing so James has limited upside. Felicio, on the other hand, is going up against a primarily rebounding frontcourt that will not have the size outside of Tristan Thompson to protect the rim against a body like Felicio's. Another option is Robin Lopez for super cheap, but it's pretty clear the Bulls frontcourt is a minefield. This is clearly a value pick and honestly, out of all three, it's between Felicio and Jones.
