We're set for a solid six-game slate Monday night, the type of mid-size ledger that many might consider ideal for DFS purposes since it offers enough differentiation for tournaments without presenting us with an overwhelming number of decisions.
The injury report isn't particularly extensive either, which helps keep the player pool robust. There are also plenty of solid options at each price point across the salary cap, which should make for a fun night of lineup construction.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the respective main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/6/23. Remember to monitor the NBA injury report as the slate can completely change before lineups lock, which is at 7:00 pm ET. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
James Harden - PG, PHI at IND ($10,100 DK, $10,300 FD)
Harden checks into Monday's favorable matchup already running hot, as he's averaging 25.6 points, 9.6 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.2 steals across the last 11 games while shooting a stellar 45.3 percent from three-point range during that span. The Beard is also averaging just over 50 DK points and just under that mark on FD in that span, and he's already rung up a 50 and 60 fantasy-point tally in two previous games versus the Pacers this season.
Indiana also checks in allowing 50.8 DK/49.9 FD points per game over the last seven contests, along with the sixth-highest three-point shooting percentage (37.1) overall. The Pacers are also tied for the second-most assists per game allowed (26.3), making Harden's case all the more appealing even at five-figure salaries.
Fred VanVleet - PG, TOR at DEN ($8,500 DK, $8,200 FD)
VanVleet turned in a stellar performance Saturday, posting 59.5 DK/59.8 FD points across 40 minutes against the Wizards. The star point guard appeared to shake off any final rust stemming from a recent three-game absence after going 6-for-28 from the field in his first two games back, and he now faces a Nuggets squad that has had trouble slowing down point guards consistently.
The Nuggets have allowed the fourth-highest offensive efficiency to point guards (29.0), along with 37.7 percent three-point shooting to the position. Denver is also conceding the third-most DK (54.5) and fourth-most FD (53.5) points per game to point guards, and VanVleet has also been at his most productive on the road with averages of 41.5 DK/40.9 FD points per contest across 26 games.
Jaden Ivey - PG/SG, DET vs. POR ($5,900 DK, $6,100 FD)
Ivey makes for an intriguing value option that has proven capable of outpacing his current salaries on multiple occasions this season. The rookie has delivered at least a 5x return on his current DK salary on 29 occasions this season, and he's accomplished the feat with respect to his FD salary in 19 games overall.
Ivey has also been at his best at home, averaging 31.2 DK/30 FD points per contest in that split. Additionally, the Trail Blazers are allowing an elevated 39.6 percent success rate from three-point range to shooting guards, along with the most DK (49.3) and second-most FD (47.0) points per game to the position in the last 15 games.
ALSO CONSIDER: Kevin Huerter - SG/SF, SAC vs. NOP ($4,900 DK, $5,900 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Jimmy Butler - SF/PF, MIA vs. ATL ($8,900 DK, $8,800 FD)
Butler just put up 44.3 DK/42.7 FD points against the Hawks on Saturday night, and he'd put up over 50 on both sites in two of the previous three contests as well. Butler has proven amply capable of outpacing his current salaries on multiple occasions, and he's shooting a cool 52.8 percent while averaging 22.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.4 steals per contest in the last 12 games.
Atlanta has also been especially vulnerable to small forwards of late, allowing the second-most DK (45.9) and FD (45.7) points per game to the position in the last seven games. The Hawks are also surrendering the most rebounds (9.9), fourth-most made threes (3.3), and fourth-most steals (1.8) per game to the position in that span, giving Butler multiple paths to fantasy success.
Jerami Grant - SF/PF, POR at DET ($7,100 DK, $7,500 FD)
Grant enters into a favorable matchup against one of his old squads running hot, as he's averaging 22.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks per contest in the last three games while averaging over 35 fantasy points on both sites during that span. The veteran forward has been at his most productive on the road as well, averaging 21.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 39.9 percent three-point shooting across 29 games.
Detroit surrendered 42 DK/39.4 FD points to Grant in the one prior meeting between the Blazers and Pistons, and they also check in surrendering 48.0 percent shooting to power forwards. The Pistons are also conceding over 43 DK and over 42 FD points to fours in the last seven games, along with an Eastern Conference-high 38.2 percent three-point shooting at home.
De'Andre Hunter - SF/PF, ATL at MIA ($4,500 DK, $5,600 FD)
Hunter makes for an interesting small forward play on the other side of the Hawks-Heat matchup, as Miami has had trouble slowing down the position all season and Hunter's DK salary is especially reasonable. The third-year wing scored 25.8 DK/25.6 FD points against the Heat in Saturday's contest as well, and he has another pair of tallies over 25 DK points versus Miami this season as well.
The Heat allow an NBA-high 27.0 offensive efficiency rating to threes, as well as over 40 DK and 39 FD points per contest to the position in the last 15 games. Erik Spoelstra's squad has also been especially vulnerable to long-distance shooting at home this season, allowing a 37.1 percent success rate from deep in that split. Hunter has also exceeded 30 DK points on 15 occasions and 30 FD points in 11 instances, giving him plenty of upside for a player with his salaries.
ALSO CONSIDER: Brandon Ingram - SF, NOP at SAC ($8,600 DK, $8,500 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Nikola Jokic - DEN vs. TOR ($11,800 DK, $12,000 FD)
Jokic's inclusion as a suggestion speaks for itself, considering his penchant for rattling off triple-doubles and his averages of 59.3 DK/55.9 FD points per game on the season. The big man has flashed a ceiling north of 80 fantasy points on multiple occasions this season as well, and he's putting up well over 60 fantasy points per game on both sites at home this season.
The Raptors are allowing over 52 DK points and over 49 FD points per contest to centers in the last 15 games, and Toronto is also conceding an elevated 38.1 percent three-point shooting on the road, along with an NBA-high 48.1 percent three-point shooting over the last three contests.
Bam Adebayo - MIA vs. ATL ($8,200 DK, $8,700 FD)
Adebayo just posted 57.8 DK/57.7 FD points against this same Hawks squad Saturday, his second set of tallies over 50 fantasy points versus Atlanta this season. His success is far from rare for a big man versus the Hawks, considering they've allowed the sixth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (34.8), along with over 54 fantasy points per contest to the position in the last 30 games.
The Hawks are also ranked in the bottom 10 in points in the paint per game surrendered on the road (52.4), while Adebayo is scoring 71.6 percent of his points in that part of the floor.
Marvin Bagley III - C/PF, DET vs. POR ($5,500 DK, $6,200 FD)
Bagley could draw a start Monday with James Wiseman (knee) questionable for the contest, and the 2018 second-overall pick already checks in averaging 17.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.3 blocks across 26.3 minutes over the last four games. The big man has blown away his current salaries by a wide margin in that span, scoring 38 to 48.3 DK points and 34.9 to 48.6 FD points in three of the last four contests.
The Trail Blazers also come in allowing the fifth-highest offensive efficiency rating to centers (34.8), along with an NBA-high 65.7 DK/65.3 FD points to the position in the last 15 games. Portland is also conceding 58.2 percent shooting to fives, including 39.2 percent from behind the arc, a vulnerability the floor-stretching Bagley is well-equipped to take advantage of.
ALSO CONSIDER: Domantas Sabonis - C/PF, SAC vs. NOP ($10,000 DK, $9,700 FD)
