In the world of football, especially in the magical land of the Dallas Cowboys, tempers can flare and crap seems to escalate rather quickly.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant and defensive back Tyler Patmon exchanged a few words, knocked helmets, and threw some punches during team drills at training camp on Sunday. Not wanting to be out-douched by his WR, Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones gave the scuffle his crypt-keeper stamp of approval, calling it “good stuff” while comparing it to the days of Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin.
So the more hot-headed the players, the better the season (remember, Dallas’ heyday was in the 90’s with Sanders and Irvin… like Cowboys’ fans will ever let us forget that)? It’s been proven more so than not, which is why Jones is twiddling his fingers Mr. Burns style at the altercation.
