Baller Move: Add in 14-team leagues as a Yeldon handcuff.
Owned in: 26% of Fleaflicker leagues.
Analysis: A sprained MCL suffered in Week 2 derailed Denard Robinson's potential time share with rookie T.J. Yeldon. He missed three games with the injury, then returned Week 6 to log a season-high 10 touches against Houston in the one game Yeldon missed. He did not touch the ball a week later against Buffalo, and has only been called on twice ever since.
Robinson has good speed and decent hands, but when the Jags have wanted to pound the rock it's either been Yeldon or a Blake Bortles scramble. In any event, it's clear Jacksonville is a pass-first team behind Blake Bortles. Even in the passing game, Robinson is the fourth or fifth option.
Should Yeldon hit the rookie wall, it might be worth adding Robinson in leagues with deep rosters as a handcuff. However, even if Yeldon gets hurt Robinson would still lose some touches to Gerhart and others. He just doesn't have the build to be a bell-cow kind of back. There are far better options out there in the short term, and in the long term Robinson's ceiling is very low.
