ANALYSIS: Marshawn Lynch's one-game suspension for entering the field and contacting an official during a scrum last Thursday was upheld, meaning Washington and Jalen Richard will split the backfield workload in Week 8 against the Bills.
After Lynch was ejected last week, Washington received a season-high nine carries for 33 yards and scored for the first time this season. He also added three catches for seven yards. He'll make for a bye-week fill-in, but temper your expectations, as both Washington and Richard will have limited fantasy ceilings while sharing touches.
Washington should be used more between the tackles and at the goal line, so he'll probably be touchdown-dependent. Richard has been more productive than Washington overall this year, as Washington is averaging just 2.3 yards per carries on 23 attempts.
