ANALYSIS: Joining his sixth team in the past five years, Danny Valencia is hoping to make a more permanent home in Oakland. Valencia showed great promise his first two years in Minnesota, but has bounced around since then and has had a hard time finding consistent playing time. Now he has a great opportunity as the starting third baseman and cleanup hitter in Oakland after hitting .290 with 18 HR and 66 RBI in 2015. In 183 AB with Oakland, he posted a .530 SLG and .246 ISO. Valencia has the power to be a significant contributor and should be rostered in all leagues.
