BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 45% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy has been boom-or-bust this season. Just looking at his last 10 starts, Duffy has allowed one earned run, or less, in five appearances and allowed at least four earned runs in the other five contests. While he is 4-8 with a 5.19 ERA this season, Duffy has thrown at least six innings in five consecutive starts and has allowed one run or fewer in three of those five starts (he allowed six earned runs in each of the other two starts, though).
He will face two divisional foes in Week 15, the Twins and White Sox, both on the road. Both teams are tied for the 11th worst team wOBA (.310) against left-handed pitchers this season. Also, the White Sox lead the league with 831 strikeouts this year.
Duffy has had a rollercoaster 2018 season, but fantasy owners should jump on the ride again in Week 15. The talent is still there for the lefty and two weak teams should help him regain form. As crazy as it may seem considering his record and 5.00+ ERA, Duffy is a good addition in all deeper leagues.
