BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ team PPR leagues
OWNED IN: 24% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Week 2 was certainly a letdown after Week 1's emergence, but Detroit Lions wide receiver Danny Amendola still presents some value in PPR leagues going forward.
In Week 1, Amendola led the Lions in both targets (13) and receptions (7) while compiling 104 receiving yards and a touchdown. In Week 2, he went catch-less on just one target. The Lions were in the midst of a defensive battle against the Chargers in Week 2 and Amendola just ended up completely outside of the game-plan.
However, Amendola should still remain a key part of the Lions' offense going forward and in deep PPR leagues, he could end up being a sneaky starter in a few upcoming matchups. The most alluring matchup ahead is Week 4 against the Chiefs, where Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford will likely need to rely on all the receivers he has in order to keep up with the high-flying Chiefs. Amendola could also end up producing well this coming week against the Eagles and then again against the Giants and Raiders in Week 8 and Week 9.
Amendola can be left on waivers in most non-PPR leagues and all shallow leagues, but in PPR leagues of 14 or more teams, he's worthy of a roster spot and could be used as a fill-in starter for the right matchups.
