Boston Celtics power forward/center Daniel Theis is a worthy consideration as a fantasy basketball waiver wire pickup heading into Week 6 of the NBA season.
BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 15% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Boston Celtics power forward/center Daniel Theis has grabbed double-digit rebounds in three straight games and appears to be the team's primary center for now. He's been consistently logging over 20 minutes per game, while Robert Williams has been seeing around ten minutes per game as his backup.

CLAIM IT NOWTheis is averaging 7.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game on the year. Those are really the only two categories where he's going to give you a major boost. He's shooting only 46.2% from the field this year, despite having a career field goal percentage of 53.5%. So there's certainly room for growth in field goal percentage as well.
Add him if you need a center or general help in rebounds and blocks in leagues of 12 teams or deeper. He and Williams could end up splitting their minutes a bit more evenly as the season goes on, but for now at least, Theis is getting the time he needs to produce.
