Daily Fantasy Hockey Lineup Picks (11/28/17): NHL DFS Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

Tom Vecchio's top daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for 11/28/17. Expert NHL DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for FanDuel and DraftKings.

We have a 10 game main slate tonight, as is usual for Tuesday's in NHL season. There are some really juicy match ups tonight, just a matter of getting big line stacks together. You will need to find some value if you are looking to load up on the top stars.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/28/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider

Steven Stamkos - C, TB @ BUF (DK - $7,900, FD - $8,700)

Tampa is looking to be one of the top options tonight, since they are going up against the Sabres, who have given up 83 goals in just 24 games. This is a prime spot for them, and you want to try and jam in their top line if you can, but since they are so expensive, you will have the find some value. Stamkos has only scored one points in his last four games, so he is due to put up some big number tonight against such a weak team. Playing on the top forward line, and the top power-play line, will get him plenty of ice time against Buffalo who takes a lot of penalties. Stamkos has 36 points in just 23 games, and is taking over three shots per game.

Jimmy Vesey - W, NYR vs FLA (DK - $3,200, FD - $4,000)

The Rangers may have gotten off to a slow start, but they have turned things around, and are playing well. More importantly, they are getting offensive contribution from multiple lines, which opens up some value. Vesey has three points in his last four games, and is taking about two shots per game. He sees time on the second power-play unit, which is locked in, but his forward line can change. He has seen time on lines two, three, and four this season, so depending on what the lines look like tomorrow it could change. It should be either line three or four, but he is starting to get hot, and offers plenty of salary relief.

DFS Defenders to Consider

John Klinberg - D, DAL @ VGK (DK - $5,900, FD - $5,600)

Klinberg is generally one of the best point per dollar plays any night, and should be as strong cash game option tonight. The young Swedish defender sees time on the top defensive pairing and the top power-play unit, logging over 20 minutes per game. He has 21 points in 23 games this season, but does much more than contribute on the offense end. He takes over two shots per game, and also blocks over one shot per game. These are my favorite type of defenders, since they can really fill the stat sheet, and can reach value, without scoring a real hockey point. Can be used solo or in a stack, since he has a solid floor of points.

Jake Muzzin - D, LA @ DET (DK - $5,000, FD - $4,500)

Muzzin sees time on the top defensive pairing and the top power-play unit for the Kings, which makes him a good cash game play for tonight. He has only 13 points in 24 games this season, but is yet another player who can fill up the stat sheet. He is taking almost three shots per game, and is blocking over two shots per game. With the amount of ice time he sees, it really is only a matter of time until he will reach value. Isn't super expensive, and has great consistency.

DFS Goalies to Consider

Andrei Vasilevskiy - G, TB @ BUF (DK - $8,200, FD - $9,200)

Vasilevskiy is looking to be one of the chalk options tonight, since he is up against Buffalo, who have only scored 55 goals in 24 games this season, which is dead last in the league. He has 15 wins in 19 games this season, and allowing a bit over two goals per game. The best part of rostering Vasilevskiy is know that the Tampa Bay offense can outscore any team in the league, and he is always in a spot to be able to pick up the win. He is expensive, but massive -185 road favorite, which generally isn't seen in the NHL. Good for all formats, since the win is very likely.
