Daily Fantasy Hockey Lineup Picks (11/25/17): NHL DFS Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

Patrick Kane leads the way in NHL DFS on Monday night.

We have an 11 game main slate tonight, so the options at each position are plentiful. Stacking will be big tonight, so find the savings where you can, and load up on big name skaters.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/25/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider

 Patrick Kane - W, CHI @ FLA (DK - $7,300, FD - $8,400)

Kane is always one of the highest priced wingers on the slate, and tonight is no different. He is on a bit of a hot streak, as he has a five game point streak in the works, and is now up against a Florida team who gives up over three goals per game. He is taking over three shots per game, and sees time on the second power-play unit and the second forward line. The Blackhawks have an Expected Corsi For of 46 tonight, so we should see them firing the puck anytime they get the chance. Viable for any format tonight, just have to find the savings to get up to his price tag.

Brayden Point - C, TB @ PIT (DK - $5,700, FD - $5,400)

Point is up against the Penguins tonight, who are giving up 3.5 goals per game, which puts him in a good spot to capitalize. He has 21 points in 22 games this season, and is taking over two shots per game. He is the center on the second forward line and the second power-play unit, so we know he will be getting the ice time. The Lightning have one of the best offenses in the league, and anytime you can get some of their players on your roster, you do so. The Lightning have an Expected Corsi For of 45, and this should be one of the higher scoring games of the night, so don't hesitate to stack it up.

DFS Defenders to Consider

Alec Martinez - D, LA vs ANH (DK - $4,600, FD - $4,100)

Martinez and the Kings are up against the Ducks tonight, which means one thing, a very tough and physical game to round out the night. Martinez plays on the second defensive pairing and the second power-play unit, and with a game like this, he will see plenty of ice time. He has only four points in 20 games this season, but is taking about 1.5 shots per game, and get this, blocking over three shots per game. This guy just lays out in front of any shot to block it, and can really rack up the DFS points quickly.

Mark Giordano - D, CGY @ COL (DK - $4,800, FD - $5,700)

The Flames are cooking with fire right now, and their top line looks like they can't be stopped. Giordano gets you some exposure to those points, without spending too much. He has only eight points in 22 games this season, but is averaging over shots per game, along with over two blocked shots per game. He has plenty of ways to fill the stat sheet, without recording a real hockey point. HE plays on the top defensive pairing and the second power-play unit.

DFS Goalies to Consider

Corey Crawford - G, CHI @ FLA (DK - $7,400, FD - $8,500)

Crawford should be able to pick up the win against the Panthers, since they only come in with a projected goal total of 2.7 goals. Crawford has nine wins in 18 games this season, and has faced 31 or more shots in four of his last six games. That means he has plenty of chances to rack up easy points, and if he lets a goal in, he will have time to make up for it. Florida are in the bottom 10 of the leagues when it come to goals scored, and they shouldn't be too much of a threat on offense.
