Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/18/17): NBA DFS Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

We have a fantastic seven game slate this Saturday and the picks are plentiful. On nights like these I like to stray away from the obvious picks and give you options that you might not have considered. The 76ers-Warriors matchup is the obvious game to stack due to potential of points being scored, while the Mavericks-Bucks game is a game that is plenty of weak spots ready to be exploited.

As the season progresses, more names are starting to slide above $10,000 with others are falling. This is the ideal time to capitalize on players that have yet to really blossom or explode. For example, picking Klay on a night like tonight, when you know he is bound to go off, could result in you rostering a player that immensely exceeded their value. Picking one or two of the $8K players that produce like $10K options always the best strategy and that's where I come in.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/18/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Guards to Consider

Yogi Ferrell - PG, MIL @ DAL (DK - $3,800, FD - $4,000)

Being behind Dennis Smith Jr. provides a decent ceiling, but Yogi Ferrell has proven to be effective with whatever minutes he is given. The Bucks are in the bottom half of the league against point guards, although the addition of Eric Bledsoe has slightly improved their overall backcourt defense. Ferrell is always able to slip through defenses due to his speed and I would not expect any Bucks defender to be able to keep up with him during his tirades. After a scoreless outing two games ago, he is not done making up for that dud and expect him to lead the second unit scoring alongside J.J. Barea.

Klay Thompson - SG, GS @ PHI (DK - $6,900, FD - $6,700)

Everyone knows Klay Thompson eye-catching status he has developed for himself. Whenever he is lined up against a poor defense, his potential is unreal. But actually, we have yet to see Thompson's full potential. All we know is that he has scored 37-points in a quarter and 60 in three. Tonight he is going up the league's worst defense against opposing shooting guards, not to mention the 76ers have been especially bad in the last five games. Play Klay with confidence.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Harrison Barnes - SF, MIL @ DAL (DK - $6,200, FD - $7,100)

It's hard to stay away from Harrison Barnes whenever the Mavericks play due to his price and potential. If the Mavericks are going to win, it's going to be because Barnes has a good game. If Barnes' has a good game, he greatly exceeded his value. His price is way too low to pass up and until his price start to creep over 7K, he is going to be a good low-price, high-upside option. I know you are tired of seeing options from just two teams but there's just oooonnneee morree I want to throw at you.

Dario Saric - PF, GS @ PHI (DK - $3,800, FD - $3,200)

With the amount of points that are going to be scored this game, combined with Dario Saric' skill set will allow him to get an incredible amount of opportunities. He has the ability to score and rebounds efficiently, it will just depend on the rest of the 76ers being able to find him. Saric just needs to hit a few shots before he gets rolling and chances are the Warriors will not deploy their best defender on Saric. His price is hard to pass up, especially knowing the amount of minutes he is going to get.

DFS Centers to Consider

Nikola Vucevic - C, UTA @ ORL (DK - $6,800, FD - $7,800)

Nikola Vucevic, and the Orlando Magic for that matter, got off to a very hot start this season and they have since simmered down. Luckily for Vucevic, Rudy Gobert's injury has completely opened up the Jazz frontcourt for easy pickings. While the Jazz still have one of the stingiest defenses, they will have to start picking up the pace against teams like the Magic who have extremely versatile big men. Vucevic has a fantastic price that can free up space or be the perfect mid-range option.
