Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Friday 6/11

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 6/11/21. Mike Marteny identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to make up for Greinke getting thumped yesterday, we can help. Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.

It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.

We have 11 pitchers who are over 90% rostered and another three that are above 50%. That leaves us a little over half the starters to choose from on waivers today. Can any of them actually help us? Let's find out, but first we'll cover the hitters.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 6/11 - Shallow Leagues

Jonathan Schoop (1B/2B, RHB, DET) - 48.8% Rostered

Matchup: vs. CWS RHP Lucas Giolito

Oh boy. Schoop draws another lefty! He is hitting .417 with seven homers, 14 RBI, and nine runs scored in the last two weeks, but his hot streak has gone on longer than that. Schoop has reached base safely in all but one game since May 14. Since then, he has raised his average 65 points on the season, hit eight homers, and driven in 21 runs. How is he still under 50% rostered while being eligible at 2B? Yes, Giolito is good, but he has given up six homers in his last four starts and Schoop has taken him deep before in his career.

Justin Upton (OF, RHB, LAA) - 48.7% Rostered

Matchup: at ARI RHP Merrill Kelly

The Angels have called upon Upton to help out their struggling offense by putting him in the leadoff role. Upton has responded with six homers, 11 RBI, and 14 runs scored in the last 14 games. The .375 average over the last week wont hurt you either. Add in the fact that he's in a hitter-friendly park against a pitcher that has only allowed less than two runs in a game once all season, and Upton should have continued success tonight.

Jonathan India (2B/3B, RHB, CIN) - 34% Rostered

Matchup: vs. COL LHP Kyle Freeland

India has cooled after a hot start, but he is showing signs of getting comfortable again. India has retaken the leadoff slot and has responded with a .421 average, two homers, four RBI, and six runs scored in the last week. Freeland has been much better on the road, but Great American Small Park is just about as friendly as Coors, especially with the humidity and temperatures in the high 80's. The ball is going to fly out of here as well.

Adam Duvall (OF, RHB, MIA) - 21.5% Rostered

Matchup: vs. ATL RHP Charlie Morton

Average isn't Duvall's game, but he is riding a modest four-game hitting streak with six hits in 18 tries. Duvall has also homered in back-to-back games and has six RBI in the last three games. The Marlins offense as a whole is starting to come alive and Duvall's hot bat in the middle of the order is another good reason why. Nothing about Morton's numbers really stick out besides his strong ground ball rates, but he did five up five runs in six innings to the Marlins back in April.

Hitter Streamers for 6/11 - Deeper Leagues

Willy Adames (SS, RHB, MIL) - 17.9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. PIT RHP Chase De Jong

Yeah, I know, Willy Adames is still not a sexy name. However, that doesn't mean that he can't help your fantasy teams. After an absolutely horrid start in Tampa, Adames is hitting .308 with three homers, 12 RBI and eight runs scored in 18 games with the Brewers. Perhaps the biggest thing with Adames is the spike in OBP and OPS with the Brewers. Adames struck out a terrifying 51 times in 132 at bats with the Rays. He has only struck out 18 times in 65 at bats with Milwaukee. That's right, Adames has more hits than strikeouts as a Brewer. This is another good matchup for Adames if you need any kind of production from your middle infield.

J.P. Crawford (SS, LHB, SEA) - 16.9% Rostered

Matchup: at CLE RHP Aaron Civale

The Seattle offense is starting to make some strides. The .234 average in June is already 35 points higher than May's mark and they have averaged five runs a game. Big deal, right? Well the Mariners scored just 96 runs in 28 May games, so yeah, it's kind of a big deal. Crawford has been a big part of that surge. He has taken over as the leadoff hitter and is hitting a robust .571 with a homer, six RBI, and five runs in the last week. Maybe this continues. Maybe not, but it wont cost you anything to find out. Oh, and Aaron Civale has allowed eight runs, including five homers, in his last two starts.

Yandy Diaz (1B/3B, RHB, TB) - 14.3% Rostered

Matchup: vs. BAL LHP Keegan Akin

Yandy started slowly this year as well, but there is some cause for optimism now. First off, he is still batting cleanup for the Rays. That counts for something. Second, he is hitting .409 with a homer (his only one of the season), five RBI and four runs scored in his current six-game hitting streak. Yandy has always hit lefties well and this year is starting no differently. Roll him out there against another lefty!

Maikel Franco (3B, RHB, BAL) - 8.9% Rostered

Matchup: at TB LHP Ryan Yarbrough

It may seem peculiar to go after a pitcher coming off of his first career complete game, but that's part of the reason why I'm going after Yarbrough. He also sports a 4.62 ERA at home and the Orioles lit him up for six runs (three earned) back on May 19 in Baltimore. That should come as no surprise. The Orioles are statistically the best team in the Majors against left-handed pitching. They are hitting a staggering .292 as a team against lefties. Franco himself is hitting 67 points higher against southpaws this year. I will have plenty of Orioles righties tonight in every format.

Pitcher Streamer for 6/11 - Shallow Leagues

Tarik Skubal (LHP, DET) - 28.3% rostered

Matchup: vs. CWS

The White Sox hit lefties well in April, but that was so two months ago. Now their ineptitude against southpaws rivals the Yankees. Skubal has a strong 3.27 ERA in five home starts and put up 31.1 DraftKings points in just five innings against this same White Sox team in Chicago last week. The 11 strikeouts are a new career high, but Skubal now has 37 strikeouts in just 21 innings over his last four starts, so it stands to reason that it could be replicated. Oh, and he's only given up five runs in that span. Tell me you don't have room for that. This rostered percentage is downright criminal.

Pitcher Streamers for 6/11 - Deeper Leagues

Justin Dunn (RHP, SEA) - 5.3% rostered

Matchup: at Cleveland

Not much scares me about this Cleveland offense. DFA'ing Jake Bauers (who was signed by Seattle, for all of you that play based on revenge) and calling up Bobby Bradley helps, but not much. This team is hitting just .217 at home with only 27 homers in 59 games. That may change with the weather getting warmer, but I don't think it does tonight. The Mariners aren't expected to limit Dunn in his return from the IL any more than they already have. He hasn't pitched six innings in a game yet, but has 21 strikeouts in 16.1 innings over his last three starts. Dunn's 3.18 ERA and 1.19 WHIP on the season don't appear to be a fluke. The only knock on him is that he doesn't go deep into games, but that's not really an issue unless your league counts quality starts or IP.
