Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks for 4/20/20 - DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 4/20/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for ESports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering Esports at Rotoballer! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible.

We are moving over the Clutch league today with a two-game slate. This is my first time researching this league and we continue to see Draftkings hunt down some different leagues in an attempt to keep posting CS: GO slates every day.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis and picks for ESports DFS contests on DraftKings Monday, April 20th, 2020 at 5:15 PM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @rdr1634 as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

  • W7M vs. Isurus (no odds available)

CS: GO DFS Captain Considerations

Iatto stands out to be one of the strongest plays on this slate.  He is carrying a 1.32 K/D ratio since the beginning of 2020 and has gone +171 over his last 33 maps. He has a career K/D ratio of 1.22 and has a headshot percentage of 48.1%. He also carries a .83% kills per round rate which is very high and with him being priced only at $7,800, he stands out to be the best value and play on this slate.

nython could be a viable pivot from his teammate Iatto should you want to take the chance and fade the best player on this slate. Nython is actually more expensive than Iatto which means ownership for the captain role could be down a bit due to his high salary cost. He is priced at $8,800 and has a 1.17 K/D ratio since the start of 2020 while having a 45.8% headshot percentage. He averages .79 kills per round and offers some solid upside in this matchup.

Note: it’s tough to look elsewhere on this slate for the captain role just because Red Candids are in such a good spot and can take both games easily while offering high upside.

CS: GO DFS Value Plays

Pancc has one of the lowest prices on the slate but there could be some upside to using him in this matchup. He has a career K/D ratio of 1.09 and carries a career headshot percentage of 53.8%. Over the last four months, he has a K/D ratio of 1.06 so he is consistently right around that mark. He is only $4,600 which is extremely cheap but leaving money on the table is one way to get different on this slate. In his career, he has played 40 maps against Isurus and has a career K/D ratio of 1.13 which is very solid for the price he is at.

DeStiNy could be viewed as a true value play since he priced way down at $7,600 and has a 1.14 K/D ratio since the start of 2020 while also accumulating a 50.1% headshot percentage. He averages .77 kills per round over the last four months and has had a plus K/D differential in 11 out of his last 12 games played. Normally, we would not consider a mid-7k player value but on this slate, he stands out!

Top CS: GO DFS Stacks

Red Candids look to be the best stack on this slate due to their matchup. They have won two out of three meetings against Bravos with the two wins coming in February of this year.

Since the beginning of 2020, Red Candids have a team K/D ratio of 1.12 while Bravos carries a .98 K/D ratio over the same timeframe so there is a big edge for Red Candids. They have a 73% win percentage over their last 33 maps played so they are in really good form right now as they enter this matchup.

Red Candids have one of the strongest players in this tournament in Iatto. He is a must-play if you are trying to stack RC. Nython and Destiny both have above a 1.10 K/D ratio over the last four months as well so they make a strong three-man stack if you are looking to grab pieces from this team

W7M is the other team to look at on this two-game slate. They own the record for head-to-head meetings with 9-6-2 and have won four out of the last five meetings. W7M is 3-0-1 as Isurus is 1-1-2 in Group A play of the CLUTCH Season 2 so this is another key battle for both squads.

W7M carries a team K/D ratio of 1.05 over the last four months while Isurus has a .99 K/D ratio over that same time span. This will be a close contest between these two squads but it seems that W7M will have a slight edge. They have a really balanced squad as all five guys have above a 1 K/D ratio over the last four months. Pancc is the cheapest W7M member so if you need salary relief he would be one of the ones I would look to plug-in first. Raafa has had success against Isurus as he has registered a 1.10 K/D ratio over the 51 maps played against them. Real also falls into the same category as he has posted a 1.09 K/D ratio over the course of 23 maps played against Isurus.
