Spring Sweet Spring 3 Regionals

Best of 3

  • Copenhagen Flames (-750) vs. Ambush (-125)
  • Anonymo (-750) vs. ONYX
  • Lyngby Vikings (-325) vs Iberian Family
  • Galaxy Racer (-140) vs. Budapest 5

Captain Plays:

roeJ is my preferred pay-up option on this slate for the captain spot. Over his last 43 maps played, roeJ has produced a 1.18 K/D ratio while also managing to produce a +135 K/D differential over that same time span. He has a very solid .78 kill per round rate while having a low .67 death per round rate and what is extremely encouraging is that he carries a 75.2% KAST percentage (the percentage in which he either gets a kill, assist, or survives the round).

Kylar is the second highest-priced member of Anonymo but has actually been their best player over the last three months of maps played. He has produced a 1.05 K./D ratio diriong that time span and leads the team with a +93 K/D differential. Over that same three-month span, Kylar has produced a .67 kill per round rate while having a relatively low .64 death per round rate and with a slight discount, he makes for a great captain play from this Anonymo squad.

Other captain plays in order of preference: SunPayus, KEi, nicoodoz

Value Plays:

fleav looks to be a strong value play on this slate and while his team is an underdog in their matchup, fleav could have a strong individual performance. Over his last 17 maps, fleav has produced a 1.19 K/D ratio while also producing a .77 kill per round rate while having a .64 death per round rate.

DeathZz looks to be a solid value option in a game that could go the distance which means there will be plenty of opportunity for kills. Over his last six maps played, DeathZz has produced a 1.32 K/D ratio while having a +29 K/D differntial. He has a so-so KAST rating of a 67% but he does a great job by inflicting damage as he has an 84.6 average damage rate per round over that six-game stretch.

Other value plays in order of preference: zyphon, J3nsyy, joel, birdfromsky, innocent

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

Anonymo is the top stack on this slate and would be one to consider three-man stacking in tournament builds. They come into this matchup as the #42 ranked team while ONYX comes into this matchup as the #210 ranked team in the entire world. Anonymo has managed to win three out of their last four matches while Onyx has won two straight matches so both teams look to be in solid form. Anonymo does get the slight edge as they do carry the map advantage by having a higher winning percentage on four of the seven playable maps.

Anonymo is a high-priced team which does make it a tad tough to fit them in but when looking at this squad, they have a few guys to really consider. Kei, Kyler, and Snax have been in the best form over the past three months of maps played while Innocent would be a cheaper option to consider.

Other Stacks: Copenhagen Flames, Budapest 5
