ANALYSIS: Corey Davis missed almost all of preseason with an injured hamstring, but that didn't stop him from drawing 10 targets from Marcus Mariota in the Titans opening contest against the Raiders. Davis caught six of ten passes for 69 yards, including a ridiculous grab against tight coverage in the game's opening possession.
Wide receivers selected in the top five picks of the NFL draft have a very high rate of success even as rookies. There was reason to be skeptical of Davis after missing all four preseason contests, but Davis has already hit the ground running and based on his performance in the season opener, there's no reason to expect Marcus Mariota's confidence in him to do anything but grow. He's an add in all formats.
