Monday Night Football is done for the 2023-24 NFL season, so we get the first ESPN Big Monday of the season! That's the good news. The bad news is that DraftKings couldn't find any other games to put on the slate. So run a lineup or three, grab a beer or six, and tune into ESPN. You'll know exactly how your night went. Something can be said for that as well.
Big Monday means big games. The early one is a Tobacco Road battle in Chapel Hill between North Carolina and Wake Forest. We end the evening in Lawrence with Cincinnati heading to the Phog to take on the Jayhawks. These small but mighty slates can be fun as well!
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/22/24, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Kevin McCullar Jr., Kansas ($8,300)
Marquee games bring marquee defenses, so no one really has a great matchup tonight. That's where a consistent producer like McCullar can come in handy. McCullar has at least 30 DraftKings points in four straight games and 11 of his last 12 outings. He's a cash game staple with ample upside for GPP usage as well. Scoring is McCullar's strong suit, but he's a good rebounder and an underrated passer as well.
Hunter Sallis, Wake Forest ($7,000)
Sallis has always been a good scorer, but he has ramped up his rebounds in ACC play. He has averaged six rebounds per game in conference play, which is well over his season average of 3.9. Believe it or not, Carolina is not the best team in perimeter defense on this slate. They are much more strong on the inside, but Sallis doesn't go in there much anyway. There's good upside here for the price.
Johnny Furphy, Kansas ($5,100)
Furphy has now made four starts in place of Elmarko Jackson and let's just say that Jackson won't get his job back anytime soon. Furphy has 44 points, 21 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and three steals in four games. He has played over 30 minutes in each of the last two contests. I expect another strong game out of Furphy here.
Also consider: RJ Davis, North Carolina ($7,500); John Newman III, Cincinnati ($6,200); Dajuan Harris Jr., Kansas ($6,100); Damari Monsanto, Wake Forest ($4,700); Elliot Cadeau, North Carolina ($4,500)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($8,000)
Carolina is loaded this year, so Bacot isn't asked to carry the team like he has for stretches of the last two seasons. His numbers are down, but his upside is still massive. He can still take over when needed and is a constant double-double threat. Wake doesn't have the athletes on the inside to keep Bacot off the glass and they aren't going to do much to alter his shot. There is some risk here, but Bacot's floor is still plenty high enough when he's not priced in five figures.
Efton Reid III, Wake Forest ($6,400)
Reid has upped his scoring lately and is still one of the best rebounders in the ACC. All of that is going to be tested tonight. He is still an elite rim protector and this matchup with Carolina is really going to test him. If Bacot defends the better scorer in Andrew Carr, which should be the case, I like Reid's chances against Harrison Ingram. He's not going to break the slate or anything, but he should hit 20 DraftKings points for the ninth straight game.
Jae'Lyn Withers, North Carolina ($4,600)
The Louisville transfer hasn't had a huge impact on the Carolina bench until recently. Withers has 34 points, 19 rebounds, two assists, and two rebounds in 52 minutes over the last three games. Wake has the size to get one or both of Carolina's big men in foul trouble. If that happens, it could mean more minutes for Withers. Even if it doesn't, Withers has provided a great scoring burst off the bench.
Also consider: Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($9,400); Harrison Ingram, North Carolina ($7,100); Andrew Carr, Wake Forest ($6,900); Aziz Bandaogo, Cincinnati ($5,300);
