Welcome back, RotoBallers! We're nearing the end of the 2019-20 Bundesliga season with each team having only four games remaining. I will soon turn my focus to the English Premier League when they return, but for now, I am going to continue with my Bundesliga content.

Bundesliga DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Koln vs Union Berlin

Koln (-0.5) are slight home favorites on Saturday, however, they have not won a game in over three months. They have been solid at home, though, and Union Berlin now rank dead last in away record. Koln should be able to pull out a win in this game. There will be a handful of good one-off plays from this game, but there's no need to make this game a priority especially with a goal total over/under of only 2.5.

Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Borussia Dortmund

Even on the road, Dortmund (-1.5) are favored significantly. This will be a great matchup for them against a team sitting in the relegation zone who allow 2.0 goals per game. This is a slate where you can feel good about fully stacking Dortmund. They won the first matchup 5-0 earlier this season, and while they aren't quick the scoring juggernaut on the road that they are at home, they have significant potential for another big game on Saturday. The goal total over/under is 3.0.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Monchengladbach

Monchengladbach has had a good season in their own right, but Bayern Munich (-1.5) are still large favorites. Gladbach actually beat Bayern in the first meeting on the back of a brace from Ramy Bensebaini. They will get another boost on Saturday with both Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller suspended for yellow card accumulation. Munich are stellar at home, but Monchengladbach will likely be able to hold their own. This is not a slate to go all in on Bayern, but with their dominance of this league, some exposure is wise. The goal total over/under is a slate-high 3.5.

Hertha Berlin vs Frankfurt

Vegas predicts this game will be very closely contested, and after looking at the numbers on paper, they are probably right. Hertha Berlin (-120) is favored on the money line, but they spread is 0.0. There will be good lower-owned GPP plays from this game. Both defenses are weak, but both attacking groups have a decent ability to score. Attackers from this game are a good way to round out a Bayern/Dortmund heavy lineup with some more affordable players. The goal total over/under is 3.0.

Paderborn vs Werder Bremen

This is a gigantic game for Werder Bremen (-105 on the money line) if they want to keep their hopes of staying in the top flight for another season alive. Paderborn is the only team in the league with fewer points than Werder Bremen. Both of these defenses allow over two goals per game, but their ineptitude in front of goal is going to keep DFS interest in this game pretty low. The goal total over/under is only 2.5.

Wolfsburg vs Freiburg

Wolfsburg (-0.5) have essentially fallen out of the race for a UEFA Champions League qualification spot, however, they will need to keep getting good results to hold on to their Europa League spot. Wolfsburg's defense has been above average at home, which essentially eliminates Freiburg attackers. However, some exposure to Wolfsburg's attack is not a bad idea. All in all, this game does not scream "fantasy goodness," and there are better ways to fill your roster with the five other games.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

Erling Haaland ($20) returned to training in full this week, so he should be in the expecting starting lineup. He's underpriced for this matchup where he has anytime scoring odds of -278, making him a great way to get Dortmund exposure. Jadon Sancho ($22) will be popular again. This is a good matchup for him as well obviously, but you need to consider whether he's really worth $2 more than Haaland. Either way, one of these two elite attackers is a great way to start a lineup on Saturday.

A secondary Dortmund attacker is a solid way to spend your salary on Saturday. Thorgan Hazard ($18) is the next most likely starter to score at -105. He also has the highest xG/90 and xA/90 after Haaland and Sancho. If you have the money to spend, get him. However, both Achraf Hakimi ($14) and Julian Brandt ($13) are firmly in play with his matchup especially since they're much more affordable.

Serge Gnabry ($21) will lead the front line for Bayern without Lewandowski, but this is a hefty price tag for a guy who only has one goal in five games since league play resumed. Kingsley Coman ($14) or Ivan Perisic ($12) - who just scored on Wednesday - will provide much more bang for your buck in this game for Bayern.

Goal scorers from the Frankfurt @ Hertha Berlin game are firmly in my player pool on Saturday. These are two leaky defenses, and they both have capable attackers waiting to take advantage of that. Andre Silva ($19) is pricey enough where you will likely have to sacrifice a Dortmund stud to get him, but he is in a good spot here. He has scored in four of his last five appearances, is facing a defense that allows 1.87 goals per game at home this season, and leads Frankfurt in scoring odds. Filip Kostic ($16) has been on many tout lists recently, but you cannot deny his use in the fantasy game nor his role in this offense. Bas Dost ($12) is in play for a possible cheap, low-owned goal.

On the other side of this game, Matheus Cunha ($18) is still likely sidelined with a head injury, so Hertha Berlin will run Vedad Ibisevic ($15) out there up top. He actually has the highest anytime scoring odds in this game. He has not scored in three straight now, but he did score in Hertha's first two games after the break. This is a prime matchup for him to break out of his slump with Frankfurt allowing over two goals per game on the road. Dodi Lukebakio ($14) has had a tough go of it since the break, but he still leads the team in scoring this season. The real value comes from Marko Grujic ($12) who has scoring upside but a safer floor than either Ibisevic or Lukebakio with his defensive stats recently.

There are a handful of low-owned GPP darts worth throwing on Saturday including Wout Weghorst ($17). He finally broke his scoring drought in Wolfsburg's last game. He now gets a good home matchup against a below-average Freiburg defense. If you can't find the money for Weghorst but want some Wolfsburg exposure, Maximilian Arnold ($15) has a safer floor than most with decent scoring upside at +300 to score. Another GPP strategy is attacking Bayern's defense with a Monchengladbach attacker like Marcus Thuram ($13). He's in great form with four goals in five games, and now he is priced down for this game. Florian Neuhaus ($12) is an option and so is Lars Stindl ($8) for incredibly cheap. You have to be ready to risk a possible floor game with these guys, but Monchengladbach can break Bayern's defense so upside exists.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

I always like to start off here with a handful of high-end defenders here that you can pay up for if you have the money even though my go-to strategy is to find value at this position. Both Alphonso Davies ($16) and Benjamin Pavard ($14) are in play on essentially every slate. They have immense attacking upside with the way Bayern control this league. Monchengladbach isn't the greatest matchup for their attacking upside, but it's impossible to deny their role in the side. Monchengladbach can also force them into more defensive action on Saturday bolstering their floors.

Christopher Trimmel ($14) and Dedryck Boyata ($14) are both in good spots as well. They should be less owned than Davies and Pavard.

Dusseldorf defenders will be busy on Saturday against Dortmund, but the three projected starters (Zimmerman, Ayhan, Suttner) have not done well with defensive stats. They're playable against Dortmund, but there are also other good ways to find value here.

That other value can come from Monchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi ($7). He gets a great matchup against Bayern on this slate. He is cheap and will not be high-owned with his ugly game log. He has been collecting less defensive stats than his season average since the league returned. However, he is too cheap for the floor he can provide in this matchup.

John Brooks ($9) and Niklas Moisander ($10) continue to churn out double-digit games and remain cheap as well.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Manuel Neuer ($15) is always an interesting play. His floor is usually fairly sturdy with Bayern winning most games and keeping a lot of clean sheets. However, Monchengladbach has the attacking talent to score in this game. In the same breath, their attacking talent could mean plenty of saves for Neuer in this game. He has a higher ceiling in this game that he does is most other games, but a clean sheet is far from a given on Saturday.

Roman Burki ($13) is an easy way to get a good GK for $2 cheaper than Neuer. Dusseldorf only average 1.1 goals scored per game, and with Dortmund controlling the large majority of possession in this game, it's unlikely Dusseldorf will be able to generate many scoring chances. A win bonus is a near-lock here, and Burki has plenty of upside with a clean sheet likely too.

The mid-tier and value goalkeepers on the slate are pretty uninspiring. Timo Horn ($10) and Leopold Zingerle ($8) are two names to consider if you absolutely don't want to spend on Neuer or Burki.

Thanks for reading my DFS Soccer column and good luck in your contests, RotoBallers!
