Bundesliga DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings Soccer - Matchday 30 (6/6/20)

Richard's DraftKings DFS lineup picks for Bundesliga Matchday 30 on June 6th, 2020. Read his daily fantasy soccer advice, matchup breakdowns and DFS sleepers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Seems like we might start to see more action on the field, with the English Premier League, set to return. The stadiums might be empty, but that doesn't mean that the teams aren't playing to win. The title matchups happened earlier in the week, and the later matchups bring more relegation battles.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Bundesliga daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/6/20 for the slate that locks at 9:30 am ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports.

The main DraftKings DFS slate this week is for four games, and below I'll give a quick preview of each of them (so you know what to expect) and then move onto some names to consider for your lineups. You can always find me on Twitter @RichKingFF if you have any questions. Good luck RotoBallers!

Bundesliga DFS Lineup Picks - Matchups Overview

Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich

This game is the one to watch if you can. Leverkusen has had a massive return to form since their loss to Wolfsburg, with Kai Havertz in particular impressing. Bayern are also brimming with confidence and are set to become champions again this season. These are two of the best teams in the league, so it should be entertaining.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs FSV Mainz

At the wrong end of the table, fighting to stay in the league are Frankfurt and Mainz. Frankfurt are coming off the back of a much-needed win against Wolfsburg, ending their losing streak in the league. Mainz on the other hand desperately needs something from this game but could struggle to overcome Frankfurt.

RB Leipzig vs Paderborn

This Saturday matchup brings together two teams that both need a win, but for very different reasons. Leipzig are challenging at the top of the table, and although they can't win the title, they can still book qualification to the Champions League next season. Paderborn were torn apart by Dortmund in their previous game, and are unlikely to be able to get anything from this game too.

Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Hoffenheim

Dusseldorf were hammered by Bayern in their last game, and remain in the relegation zone. Dusseldorf needs something from this game if they are going to have any chance of staying up. Hoffenheim have shown some improvement in recent weeks with back-to-back wins, which has kept their European hopes alive.

If you aren't familiar with how players score in soccer on DraftKings take a look at their scoring methodology. And to submit a lineup you need to select 1 Goalkeeper, 2 Defenders, 2 Midfielders, 2 Forwards, and a Utility player (most likely a Midfielder/ Forward). If you have any more questions on the setup let me know, you can find me on Twitter @RichKingFF.

Now let's take a look at some of my top DraftKings DFS selections for the week!

DraftKings DFS Midfielders / Forwards

You'll see in going through the slate that there are lots of players that have dual eligibility to be in your midfield or forward slot. Here you are looking for players that are constant scoring threats, as well as players that get involved in wide areas where they can put crosses in.

Timo Werner ($11,300) is the most expensive player on the slate this week, but with great reason. Leipzig are a team in good form, in a great matchup at home. Werner is a constant goal-threat and could get multiple scores in this game.

Robert Lewandowski ($10,600) offers a cheaper option to spearhead your attack, albeit that he is the second most expensive player on the slate. Bayern are looking like they are going to cruise to another league title, due in part to the effectiveness of Lewandowski's ability.

If you want some exposure to Bayern's attack without breaking the bank then you can also pick up either Thomas Muller ($9,200) or Serge Gnabry ($8,900) are both players that are used in the final third by the team.

Outside of those more expensive options, you could opt for any of Christian Baumgartner ($6,900) or Aaron Martin ($5,900). Both of them are risky plays this week but are involved in their respective teams attacking phases.

DraftKings DFS Defenders

Defenders are where it starts to get interesting. In an ideal world, you want a defender who has a good chance of keeping a clean sheet while getting involved in attacking play.

Joshua Kimmich ($6,300) is another expensive option from Bayern on this slate. The team have a chance at keeping a clean sheet with the defensive talent that they have on the team. However, if they do concede a goal, Kimmich gets forward often which gives him a chance for more points.

Marcel Halstenberg ($5,500) returns from his suspension in a great matchup against Paderborn. Leipzig should have a fantastic opportunity to get a clean sheet, and Halstenberg has a history of getting forward for set pieces meaning he has an outside chance of getting a goal.

If you are looking at some cheaper options in the slate, with a combination of expensive attacking options then Sven Bender ($2,700) and Jerome Boateng ($2,700) could be worth an add. They are both somewhat involved on a matchday, and while they don't get too involved in the attacking phases of the game, if they manage to keep a clean sheet then they could really hit value.

DraftKings DFS Goalkeepers

For this slate, Leipzig's Peter Gulacsi ($5,900) is the clear best play. The team have a solid defense and matchup against Paderborn that won't threaten the goal all that much.

If you are looking to spend down at the position, then Kevin Trapp ($5,300) is a good option. Frankfurt are playing at home against Mainz who are really struggling.

While those are both on the expensive side for the position, there aren't many options outside of these two.

And that's it! Any questions, you know where to find me otherwise Viel Glück (good luck) RotoBallers.
