ANALYSIS:
Bubba Starling doesn’t have an everyday role just yet, but he’s the fourth outfielder and he’s already shown how productive he can be. He has seven hits through seven starts and has added a SB. He already has nine in AAA and has added seven home runs. Starling is going to be a big part of this Royals team next season, and that process could get boosted with an injury or slump.
If you’re in a deeper league, Bubba Starling is a great stash. The Royals lineup has been putting up runs and Kauffman isn’t so terrible for hitting I the summer months. Starling has a unique combination of power and speed, all the while striking out just 7% of the time. He’s he type of player the Royals love and he will eventually be one of their main contributors. For the time being, he will start every other game and wait on his name to be called. If you’re sitting in a 14+ team league and are biting at the bit for some outfield depth, Starling an easy answer.
