BALLER MOVE: Target ~200
CURRENT ADP: 248.6
ANALYSIS: There was a time in December when it seemed like an era was coming to a close in Cincinnati: After 10 seasons, Brandon Phillips was going to be traded to the Nationals. He even Tweeted about being in Washington at the time of the rumored deal. Then he changed his mind and decided to stay a Red. The best beneficiary of this could be the fantasy player. He's going to be determined to show the fans there that he was right to stay and he could put up some very good numbers.
Some people thought that Phillips was a player in decline even though he's 34 going on 35 in June. Yes, his power numbers were down, he hit only 12 homers in 2015, but he did swipe 23 bases. He bolstered his case to be ranked higher than No. 23 at second base by RotoBaller by hitting .358 with two homers and one steal during Cactus League play. As a veteran hitter, he very well could carry that into the regular season. Phillips is on a mission and the happiest people could be those who draft him.
