The Jets' acquisition of Brandon Marshall appears to be the best move of the offseason, for any team. The 31-year-old receiver had his fourth straight game of at least 100 receiving yards Sunday, hauling in seven receptions for 111 yards, and one touchdown in a 34-20 win against the Washington Redskins yesterday.
Marshall has given the Jets something that they haven't had for a while now, a legitimate number one receiver. Marshall is clearly quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's favorite target, as he has more than double the targets (54) this season than the second-most targeted receiver on the team, Eric Decker (26). In addition, Marshall has a touchdown in all but one game this year. As long as Fitzpatrick is at the helm, you can fire up Marshall as your WR1 with absolutely no worries.
