BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 30% of Fleaflicker Leagues
EXPERT ANALYSIS: Asdrubal Cabrera continues to fly under the radar despite a Renaissance season for the 30-year old shortstop. He hasn't wowed in any particular category, but has become a dependable plug-and-play MI who can contribute across most categories. On the season, he owns a .276/.326/.464 slash line with 19 HR and 48 RBI. The totals aren't overwhelming and the speed is gone, but he is still capable of surprising with big performances on occasion. Cabrera went on a five game RBI tear in late August, knocking in eight runs in 21 AB. Two days ago, he ripped two doubles and stole two bases in a single game. He is hitting .319 over the last two weeks and is showing no signs of slowing down. His current .311 BABIP nearly matches his career mark of .307, so don't expect the former All-Star to suddenly fall off any time soon. Cabrera has proven capable of helping deep league fantasy teams down the stretch and may be worth an add if you need a consistent performer to balance your lineup.
