BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 43% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez has had quite the turnaround of a season in 2018. He went from a 6.41 ERA in 105 1/3 innings in Detroit last year to a 2.72 ERA in 59 2/3 innings in Atlanta this season. Sanchez has even allowed only one earned run in back-to-back appearances.
Sanchez will see the Nationals in Washington and Marlins in Miami after the All-Star break. He has thrown 10 innings against Washington this season, striking out seven batters without allowing a run. While his matchup against the Nationals is strong, the one against the Marlins is even better. Miami is 26th in team wOBA (.306) against righties, 26th in runs scored (364 runs in 95 games), and 10th in team strikeouts (825) this season.
Those in deeper leagues should already own Sanchez, who is quickly gaining value in more shallow leagues as well. While it is a bit much to suggest Sanchez should be held in all formats, he is a serviceable two-start streamer in all leagues after the All-Star Game.
