Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's overtime win vs the Seattle Seahawks. Dalton was 30 for 44 on the day and also threw one interception.
Dalton had a big game against one of the league's best secondaries, and has now solidified himself as one of the top fantasy quarterbacks in the league. This was a big statement game for the Bengals, as they proved they can hang with any team and win in a number of different ways.
After the game, Dalton commented on what it meant to beat the Seahawks. “It’s huge. We played a really good team,” Dalton said. "Seattle’s going to win a bunch of games. Yeah, they’re 2-3 now, but let’s see what their record is at the end of the year. This was a big game, because we were facing a good team.”
If you drafted Dalton before the season, he's really paying dividends for you now, especially if you factor in his average draft position. Dalton remains a high-end QB1 and has favorable matchups left against Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Houston and San Fransisco.
