BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 17% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Akil Baddoo was one of the most popular adds in fantasy baseball during the first two weeks of the season, but when his hot start fizzled out, most managers moved on. Yet as we near the season's halfway point, he owns a .282/.374/.506 line with five home runs and eight stolen bases in just 57 games.
Yes, he doesn't play every day, and his strong June numbers (.380/.466/.500) are partially buoyed by a .452 BABIP. But the rookie has also drastically reduced his whiffs (from 43.9% in April, 13.8% this month) and has a 13.2% walk rate on the year. There's a lot to like here, and seeing his rostered rate languish in the teens is pretty strange. He deserves a good deal more attention.
