BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 47% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The New York Yankees have won each of the past four games that have been started by Domingo German. He hasn't been spectacular by any means, but he's going deep enough into games and limiting the damage so the Yankees bullpen can put things away. That in and of itself makes him worth rostering in many fantasy leagues.

Through five starts this year, German has gone 2-2 with a 4.02 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. He has a 4.6% walk rate, which is the lowest its ever been. He had a 6.6% walk rate in his 18-win 2019 campaign and an 8.8% walk rate the year before. Unfortunately, his strikeout rate has been moving in the wrong direction this year. He had a 25.8% strikeout rate in 2019. This year, it's down slightly to 23.7%.
It doesn't appear as if German is on the verge of having a standout season, but it only took a 4.03 ERA and 1.15 WHIP for him to go 18-4 in 2019 and deliver a high-end fantasy season as a result. The Yankees are starting to come around after a sluggish April and German will stand to benefit if the team keeps winning and he keeps going five or six innings while allowing around three runs. He should be rostered in all leagues. If you miss out on him for his start against the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday, grab him before he goes up against the Texas Rangers on Thursday.
