Cardinals wide receiver (WR) Andy Isabella is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 16+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 0% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: At least at this point of the season, don't consider adding Isabella unless you can stash him or you happen to play in a super-deep league. It mostly comes down to his usage going forward and seeing how things develop between Arizona's offense and Isabella than his actual production, though. Through a couple of games, Isabella ranks as the WR4 in both PPR and usage with just two targets, but Christian Kirk has disappointed as the WR3 of the Cardinals and he might lose his role soon.
Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 10 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The 7,250 entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 10th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $500,000! Sign Up Now!After dropping a goose egg in Week 1 with a 0-0-0 line, Isabella was targeted two times by Kyler Murray this past Sunday, hauled in two receptions, and averaged 33.5 yards per catch to finish with 67 on the day against Washington. Sure, the volume wasn't that high, but Washington isn't an atrocious defensive team by any means and Isabella did the most he could.
With Kirk catching only 2-of-4 targets himself and falling behind Isabella in yards (57), the depth chart might look different in Week 3. Arizona faces Detroit, which ranks better than both San Francisco and Washington against the WR position but still is just 12th in fantasy points allowed to wideouts. If given more chances, Isabella's 8.7 PPR tally could double its value next weekend. He's a super-flier, though, as there is no clarity in terms of which role and volume he will get, so don't add him unless you can truly afford the gamble.
