FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (9/7/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Happy Labor Day, everyone. On Sunday, we watched the Bucks defeat the Heat in overtime to avoid being swept. Now down 3-1, Miami and Milwaukee will meet up once again for Game 5 on Tuesday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo, who left Game 4 after reaggravating his injured ankle, may not be available. As we enter the last, unofficial day of Summer, the NBA has two postseason matchups on the agenda, with the Celtics and Raptors meeting up for a pivotal Game 5 and the Nuggets and Clippers tied at one game apiece.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/7/20. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @DennisMClausen. Good luck.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Kyle Lowry, PG - vs. BOS ($9,200)

Lowry's rostering cost hasn't risen significantly despite his productive performances during the postseason. Though his numbers from an efficiency standpoint, especially from deep, have been hit or miss during this series with the Celtics, he has taken plenty of shots and made his free throws count to make a difference on the fantasy end. The veteran has also been solid on the defensively and should continue to be a reliable member of any fantasy roster moving ahead, as long as the cost to acquire his DFS services doesn't get too out of hand.

Jamal Murray, PG - vs. LAC ($8,500)

During the Nuggets first-round matchup against the Jazz, Murray came alive and was one of the primary reasons why Denver advanced to the second round in the Western Conference. Heading into the series with Los Angeles, expectations were high for the 24-year-old, particularly after averaging nearly 50 fantasy points per game in the series against Utah. However, Murray came back down to earth in Game 1 against the Clippers and only scored 12 points on a weak shooting effort from all areas of the floor. However, in Game 2, he picked things up and ended with 45 fantasy points. Murray will likely continue to have a high ceiling during the postseason, with it potentially being higher in Game 3 if Nikola Jokic isn't able to play after suffering a wrist injury on Saturday night.

Paul George, SG - vs. DEN ($7,800)

George has struggled during his time in the bubble, both from an emotional and production standpoint. He appeared to be back on the right track in Game 2 against the Nuggets, nonetheless, and compiled 22 points, eight boards, three assists, two blocks, and two steals. He also shot 40 percent from behind the arc, an area that he has been less efficient from thus far during the playoffs.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Jaylen Brown, SF - @ TOR ($7,700)

Brown had a rough outing in Game 4 and finished shooting a rocky 4-for-18 from the field and 2-for-11 from deep. He still managed to accumulate 23.2 fantasy points, but before that, he compiled 84 fantasy points in his previous two outings, so he should get a free pass heading into Game 5.

Serge Ibaka, PF - vs. BOS ($6,100)

Although Ibaka hasn't played a ton of minutes during the postseason, his output has been trending in the right direction, which may ultimately earn him more time over Marc Gasol moving ahead. Throughout the four games during the series against Boston, he is averaging over 26 fantasy points per game. At his current rostering cost, he has a decent chance of hitting his value, and his low rostering price can help offset the cost of other, more expensive options.

OG Anunoby, SF - vs. BOS ($6,000)

After some impressive performances during the playoffs, Anunoby lost his luster in Game 3 against the Celtics. While he dropped only 11 points in that one, he has been playing too well to dismiss, especially at a rostering price of only $6,000.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Robert Williams, C - @ TOR ($4,000)

Williams has been productive despite his limited time on the floor during the postseason. He is averaging nearly 20 fantasy points during the series against the Raptors, and although he isn't a reliable source for scoring, he can make up for it on the glass and the defensive end.
