KBO Betting Picks (6/11/2020) - Moneylines, Totals, and Runlines

Steve Janik recommends betting picks for the KBO slate on 6/10/2020. He breaks down each team's roster and suggests the top picks on moneylines, totals, and runlines.

Like they say, when it rains it pours. I haven't had a winning day since June 4 and have been winless on several of those days. I almost got a gift Wednesday in the Doosan/NC game, but the over just missed by the hook. NC straight up got whooped but they've been prone to these big-time letdown games. Alas, I'm pushing on for now, as gambling is made up of ebbs and flows.

I can't stress it enough that if you're reading my analysis to make the best decision for you and not just blindly tail. If you don't feel comfortable with one of my picks, why would you take it? For new and old readers, just assume that every pick is one unit. Not only is this league volatile, but the game of baseball is incredibly volatile. Bankroll management is key.

Today, I'll be bringing you my KBO analysis, advice, and best bets for games on Thursday, June 11th starting at 5:30 am EST. If you haven’t already, check out www.mykbostats.com; it’s is a fantastic one-stop-shop for us in America to get our KBO fix. You can also check out our KBO DFS lineup picks article after this one. Also, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @RotoStevieJ to talk shop or chew me out if a pick loses.

Hanwha Eagles at Lotte Giants (-220)

O/U: 11

Probable Pitchers
Hanwha: Min-jae Jang (1-2, 7.58 ERA)
Lotte: Jun-won Seo (2-1, 4.28 ERA)

The Eagles are on a 16-game skid. There's not much else that needs said. Jared Hoying and Yong-kyu Lee are the only real constants in the lineup, especially now that their roster has a bunch of new faces. Hanwha isn't an exciting team and they have few players worth paying attention to at the moment.

Min-jae Jang has been around for awhile but hasn't been much other than an innings eater with a few solid starts here and there. Over his last two starts, he's allowed 12 runs on 20 hits over just seven innings of work. He did hold Kia to just one run over seven innings on May 14, but that's sandwiched in between mediocrity otherwise.

Lotte is on a nice little five-game win streak and looking for back-to-back sweeps Thursday. Holding a +16 run different in this series, Lotte's bats have come alive thanks to mediocre pitching. Dae-Ho Lee and Ah-seop Son have helped pace the lineup, with Son driving in five himself Wednesday. The Giants score around 5.2 runs per game at home and are on that same pace over their L10.

Jun-won Seo is just 19 years old but has had some solid moments so far in 2020. If you toss out the games against Ki and Doosan where he allowed seven and five runs, respectively, he has four starts of allowing three runs or less. He has 14/8 K/BB, but four of the walks came in the Doosan start so his control is generally pretty good.

Hanwha has been an easy fade for going on three weeks now. Lotte has been on a roller coaster so far this year with their wins coming in bulk, but I like them to sweep Hanwha before going on a nine-game road trip. Also, during the Eagles' losing streak, every single one of their losses has been by two or more runs.

Pick(s): Lotte -1.5 (-102, Fanduel Sportsbook)

Doosan Bears at NC Dinos (-186)

O/U: 11.5

Probable Pitchers
Doosan: Young-ha Lee (1-2, 4.24 ERA)
NC: Mike Wright (4-1, 2.65 ERA)

Doosan got a dynamite starting pitching effort from Raul Alcantara Wednesday. They'll turn to Young-ha Lee Thursday to try and nab the road series against the KBO's best team. The 22-year-old is fresh off his best start of 2020 where he held Kia to just one run (unearned) with just two hits allowed over six with seven strikeouts and four walks. While he has yet to allow a home run this year, he has a 4.96 ERA over 16.3 innings on the road. His 1.68 WHIP is the second worst among starters in the league so he'll have his hands full against NC.

NC got stifled and scored just one run against Raul Alcantara Wednesday, but this offense just scored 12 runs the day before and 35 runs in the Hanwha series before that. This certainly won't happen often; they've scored 8.7 runs per game over their last 10. The Dinos are hitting a league-best .311 at home and guys like Eui-ji Yang and Sung-bum Na are driving forces in that as both are hitting over .345 at home. Aaron Altherr has also hit three home runs and driven in 12 over his current six-game hitting streak.

NC is a wagon right now and while Doosan's offense is very stout as well, their bullpen is also equally as bad. With Mike Wright on the hill, they'll look to get him some early run support and keep it up as the game progresses. This just seems like too low of a total with such a healthy, potent offense.

Pick: NC Team Total Over 6.5 (-103, Draftkings Sportsbook)
