FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (2/3/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 2/3/20, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend as well as Super Bowl LIV. After Sunday's abbreviated, early four-game slate, the schedule is loaded with 10 games to start the week. To begin, RJ Barrett, Luka Doncic, T.J. Warren, Seth Curry, Kemba Walker, Alex Len, Cam Reddish, Josh Richardson, Marvin Bagley, PJ Washington, and Kyrie Irving, who sprained his knee during the matchup with the Wizards on Saturday, are all confirmed out. On the other hand, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, D'Angelo Russell, Evan Fournier, Trae Young, Deandre Bembry, De'Andre Hunter. Bruno Fernando, Ricky Rubio, Dario Saric, Derrick Rose, Markieff Morris, and Richaun Holmes are all on the fence regarding their availability on Monday night.

We have a few games that will feature plenty of scoring to keep an eye on when building your lineup/lineups. Golden State at Washington (-4.5), Detroit at Memphis (-6.5), Phoenix at Brooklyn (-2), Minnesota at Sacramento (-1.5), and San Antonio at Los Angeles Clippers (-10) are all projected to have a combined score of at least 227 points. Lastly, the Pistons and Suns will both be playing their second game in as many days, while the Spurs and Hornets will both be playing their first of back-to-back outings, which is something you want to monitor from a minutes standpoint, especially if these games get out of hand.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/3/20. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. FanDuel DFS Guards

JA Morant - PG, vs. DET ($7,300)

Morant has a favorable matchup with Detroit and, more specifically, against potential starter Reggie Jackson, who is allowing 0.5 fantasy points per minute on the year. The rookie cooled off against the Pelicans a few nights ago. However, going into that one, he had hit at least 40.7 fantasy points in his previous three outings. He has a good chance to get back on track against Detroit.

Spencer Dinwiddie - SG, vs. PHO ($7,100)

Kyrie Irving is once again slated to miss some more time, with his latest ailment occurring on Saturday after he sprained his knee against the Wizards. He is projected to miss a week, but it wouldn't be a surprise me if his absence extends beyond the All-Star break. As a result, Spencer Dinwiddie will get the call to serve as the team's primary option on the offensive end. In the 28 games that Irving has missed already this season, Dinwiddie is averaging 24.6 points and 7.1 assists throughout 33.1 minutes. While his shooting percentages could improve, he will likely put up enough shots in this one to leave his mark against the Suns.

Reggie Jackson - PG, @ MEM ($4,500)

Derrick Rose injured his groin and lasted only 13 minutes on Sunday in the win over the Nuggets, so it wouldn't be shocking if he doesn't see the court on Monday night against Memphis. With the former MVP's departure, Jackson had a strong performance by finishing with 20 points in 34 minutes. Keep an eye on Rose's status because if he can't go, Jackson, along with Bruce Brown, who had 19 points against Denver, could see some more action than usual.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kawhi Leonard - PF, vs. SAS ($10.100)

Leonard will be up against his former team as the Spurs will make a stop in Los Angeles on Monday night. As a result, the All-Star will look to up his production, especially with how their relationship ended a few years ago. He has played well against San Antonio, averaging 25.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and nearly three steals in five meetings throughout his career.

Jayson Tatum - PF, @ ATL ($7,900)

Kemba Walker, who is dealing with a knee injury, won't play on Monday night, opening the door for Tatum to benefit against one of the worst teams in the league. With Walker out of the equation, Tatum will receive a 4.7% increase in usage and a +2.3 in +/- differential. Those numbers will shoot to 9.6% and +5.8 if Marcus Smart and Enes Kanter, who are both questionable, aren't able to suit up.

Dorian Finney-Smith - SF, @ IND ($5,300)

We are already aware of how the absence of Luka Donic will benefit Kristaps Porzingis, but there are others who could receive a noticeable boost in production as well, with Finney-Smith coming to mind. With Doncic, Seth Curry, and Dwight Powell, who will miss the remainder of the year with an Achilles injury, absent, the 26-year-old is projected to get a team-high 3.4% boost in usage and a +13.7 in +/- differential. He played well against the Hawks a few days ago, finishing with 22 points, which included an efficient 4-for-7 shooting performance from deep. Also, look for Jalen Brunson, J.J. Barea, and Tim Hardaway Jr. to benefit as well.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Vucevic - C, @ CHA ($8,600)

Charlotte hasn't defended the interior very well all year and is currently allowing the most points per game to opposing big men in the league. Vucevic, who dropped 43 fantasy points against the Hornets a few weeks ago, could be in line for another strong showing, especially if Evan Fournier isn't able to suit up.
