Week 14 Kicker Streamers and Starts - 2019 Fantasy Tiers, Rankings

Justin Tucker - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Kickers

Week 14 ranks, tiers, and start/sit advice for fantasy football kickers. Gage Bridgford (@GBridgfordNFL) lists his weekly K rankings and players to avoid based on matchup, weather, and team context.

Week 14 is here, and the fantasy playoffs are upon us. Congratulations are for those of you who have made it this far. These are the weeks that matter most because, once you lose, there is no going back. Picking the right kicker to get to a championship remains a key decision.

In Week 13, we saw a kicker catch a touchdown pass, so anything is possible at this point in the season, which makes predicting the top guys every week that much more difficult. Don't worry though, that's why I'm here.

With several teams still jockeying for position in the playoffs, we aren't going to run into teams resting their starters yet, so we can still keep relying on the top guys at the position. We may not be saying the same thing in a few weeks.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge #2 is back with a massive $100,000 grand prize and $203,250 total prize pool, paying down to 100th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 8 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 17th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $100,000! Week 14 Kickers To Start & Stream: Tiers & Rankings

Tier 1 NFL Kickers

1. Justin Tucker (BAL) @ BUF
2. Matt Gay (TB) vs IND
3. Wil Lutz (NO) vs SF
4. Greg Zuerlein (LAR) vs SEA
5. Harrison Butker (KC) @ NE

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, fresh off of his game-winner in Week 13, gets the top spot this week. His offense continues to give him scoring opportunities, and he comes through on them. Against a decent Buffalo Bills Defense, he could kick a few more field goals than extra points this week. Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Matt Gay gets the second spot this week because his offense continues to hum, and the Indianapolis Colts team is slowly spiraling down. New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz paced the field in Week 13, and the San Francisco 49ers Defense is good enough to force New Orleans to settle for field goals.

Los Angeles Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein gets the next spot because his team remains in the playoff hunt. In the previous matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, on the road, he had over 10 fantasy points on the night. At home, we could see that again. Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker rounds out the top five this week thanks to an elite offense against an elite defense. He should get into field-goal range a fair bit this week.

Tier 2 NFL Kickers

6. Jake Elliott (PHI) vs NYG
7. Zane Gonzalez (ARI) vs PIT
8. Ryan Succop (TEN) @ OAK
9. Robbie Gould (SF) @ NO
10. Jason Sanders (MIA) @ NYJ

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott gets our sixth spot thanks to an offense that can't always punch the ball into the end zone against a bad defense in the New York Giants. Philly needs to run the table, and it starts here. Arizona Cardinals kicker Zane Gonzalez is in the seven spot this week despite facing a quality defense. His offense is constantly pushing the ball down the field and giving him scoring opportunities. Tennessee Titans kicker Ryan Succop has floated under the radar for many weeks, but he gets into the middle of these rankings against a fading Oakland Raiders team.

San Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould went 1-for-2 last week as he had a 51-yard attempt blocked at the end of the first half. Despite that, he gets a great bounce-back spot this week against the New Orleans Saints who have given up a fair bit of points as of late. Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders caught a touchdown last week, but that's not why he's in the rankings. He's here because the Dolphins are moving the ball a ton, and the New York Jets are not a very good football team.

Tier 3 NFL Kickers

11. Mason Crosby (GB) vs WAS
12. Jason Myers (SEA) @ LAR
13. Ka'imi Fairbairn (HOU) vs DEN
14. Austin Seibert (CLE) vs CIN
15. Chris Boswell (PIT) @ ARI

Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby kicked through some off-the-field turmoil last week, and he got a game ball for it. In Week 14, he'll get to kick at home to continue on his stretch of dominance that he's displayed this season. Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers finds a spot in these rankings thanks to a red-hot offense. The Seahawks are always putting points on the board and giving him opportunities to score.

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn is playing for one of the hottest teams in football. His offense is scoring, and they're giving him plenty of opportunities. Cleveland Browns kicker Austin Seibert sees his team get a bounce-back matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals at home. They should put up a fair bit of points. Rounding out our three tiers we have Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell. The Steelers have a skeleton crew on offense right now, but they should be able to move the ball against this Arizona Cardinals Defense.

Kickers to Avoid

Michael Badgley of the Los Angeles Chargers was nearly automatic when he returned from injury, but he's missed at least one field goal in each of the last two games. In Week 14, they'll be matched up with a Jacksonville Jaguars team that will likely see an energy boost with quarterback Gardner Minshew back under center.

Whoever the New England Patriots trot out. The Patriots are onto their fifth kicker of the season, and they haven't shown any consistency on the offensive end. With those struggles along with this being a likely bad weather game, avoid whoever they have kicking for them.

Aldrick Rosas of the New York Giants is here again this week because he's struggling with accuracy, and his team is struggling to generate consistent offense. Against a desperate Eagles Defense on the road, this is a terrible matchup for him.
