San Francisco Giants @ St. Louis Cardinals (-326)

O/U: 8.5

The Cardinals are heavy favorites against the skidding Giants, and they have RHP Jack Flaherty on the bump looking to keep things going in the right direction.

The Giants turn to RHP Dereck Rodriguez, and they're just 5-15 in his past 20 outings, while going 3-11 in his past 14 starts against teams with a winning overall record. San Francisco is also just 1-4 in Rodriguez's past five outings against NL Central foes, and the Giants are 0-5 in the past five vs. Central.

For the Cards, they have won five straight against NL West opponents while winning nine of the past 11 against a right-handed starting pitcher. St. Louis is also 6-2 in Flaherty's past eight assignments, while going 4-0 in his past four starts against teams with a losing overall mark. They're also 6-1 in Flaherty's past seven when working on five days of rest, and 20-6 in the past 26 games overall at home.

My Pick: Cardinals (-1.5, -135)

Houston Astros (-163) @ Milwaukee Brewers

O/U: 9

The Astros turn to RHP Zack Greinke against his former team, the Brewers. He is 4-0 with a 2.45 ERA in four outings since coming over from the Arizona Diamondbacks at the MLB trade deadline. He'll be opposed by RHP Jordan Lyles, who is 4-1 with a 2.51 ERA in six starts since being acquired from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Houston has won four of the past five on the road, and they're 4-1 in Greinke's past five starts overall, too. Plus, the Astros have cashed in five straight interleague battles, while going 5-1 in the past six interleague contests vs. RHP.

As far as the Brewers are concerned, they're 5-1 in Lyles' past six outings, but just 1-4 in the past five at home and 5-12 in the past 17 against American League West battles.

The under is 3-1-1 in Houston's past five on the road, and 7-3 in the past 10 against NL Central foes. For the Brew Crew, the under is 9-1-1 in the past 11 games overall, while going 8-1 in Milwaukee's past nine against AL West clubs. The under is also 8-3 in their past 11 interleague games, while going 6-1 in the past seven at Miller Park.

My Pick: Astros (-163, under 9 runs)

Los Angeles Angels @ Oakland Athletics (-175)

O/U: 8

The Angels have been in a major slide lately, winning just twice in the past 10 games overall. They're also 3-13 in the past 16 contests on the road, while going 1-6 in the past seven inside the American League West Division. In addition, they're 1-4 in the past five vs. RHP, and 0-5 in RHP Jaime Barria's past five outings. They're also 0-4 in the past four road assignments by Barria.

For the A's, they're 19-7 in the past 26 games at home while going 8-2 in the past 10 following a scheduled day off. They're also an impressive 17-4 in the past 21 starts at home by RHP Mike Fiers, while going 26-10 in his past 36 outings overall. The A's are also 5-0 in his past five starts inside the division, and 6-0 in his past six outings against losing teams.

Los Angeles has won just once in the past five meetings with Oakland, and the streak will continue on Tuesday.

My Pick: Athletics (-175)
