FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/2/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Normally, we have a massive Friday slate, but that hasn't been the case this season. The NBA is trying to crack down on back-to-back games, and they are utilizing a more consistent schedule with smaller amounts of games on what are normally bigger slates. Regardless, there are plenty of options to choose from on this slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/2/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks and our Premium DFS Cheat Sheet. And don't forget to check out our brand new NBA DFS Matchup Ratings tool with daily player projections. Lastly, remember to check your DFS lineups for injury updates.

Do not forget to check your lineups and find me in the NBA Chat Room or on Twitter @BalesSJustin if you have any questions.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Chris Paul - PG, at BKN ($9,100)

Paul has struggled a bit without James Harden in the lineup, but his breakout game is on the way. In two games without Harden, Paul is averaging 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 2.0 steals in 35.5 minutes. He gets a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets tonight, and CP3 comes with quiet triple-double upside. He was able to score 40.5 fantasy points in his last game, and he comes with tremendous upside if Houston avoids being blown out early.

Ricky Rubio - PG, vs MEM ($6,200)

Rubio has struggled a bit early this season, recording only an 18.8% usage rating thus far. That will change tonight, though, as Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out, meaning Rubio will be featured a bit more on offense. He's not an elite scorer by any means, but he is an elite passer, and should garner more assists with the ball in his hands more. On the season, he's averaging 9.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.1 steals in 29.2 minutes per game. He should also see extended minutes tonight, and it wouldn't be shocking if he has one of his best games on the early season against Memphis.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris - PF, at ORL ($7,700)

Harris has featured plenty of ups and downs through eight games this season, but he comes with tremendous upside. Overall, he's averaging 21.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 34.0 minutes per game. He has taken at least 14 shot attempts in every game this season, while adding a few free throws each night. He gets a good matchup against the Orlando Magic, and Harris makes a high upside option, who is best suited for tournaments.

Joe Ingles - SF, vs MEM ($6,300)

Ingles is another player that will see increased usage with Mitchell out of the lineup. He has proven that he can score points in a hurry, scoring 22 and 27 points in his first two games. He has cooled off a bit since then, but he's still getting similar shot exposure. He's a versatile option that can contribute in multiple categories, and Ingles should see a few extra shot attempts tonight. He's still relatively cheap, and he can be considered in all leagues on this slate.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, at BKN ($8,400)

I love using talented big men against the Brooklyn Nets, and that isn't going to change tonight. Capela has performed well with James Harden out of the lineup, as he's averaging 14.0 points, 14.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 2.0 blocks, and 1.0 steal in 32.0 minutes per game. The Nets have struggled against big men early this season, allowing Andre Drummond to record two 20/20 games. While I don't anticipate that for Capela, he comes with tremendous upside, specifically with the +3 points for blocks and steals.
