FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (9/4/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

After a Labor Day that was split up into two two slates, we have a massive Tuesday slate. There are 15 games, giving us plenty of options to choose from. It makes lineup construction a bit easier, as we have multiple different techniques we can utilize.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/4/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Mike Clevinger - P, vs KC ($9,900)

Clevinger has been enjoying an elite season, posting a 10-7 record with a 3.17 ERA through 27 starts. He has also posted a K/9 north of 9.0 through 170.1 innings. Clevinger gets a great matchup against the Kansas City Royals, who have struggled offensively this season. Through three starts against Kansas City, Clevinger features a 1-0 record with a 2.57 ERA. He's a -212 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, as well.

Wade LeBlanc - P, vs BAL ($6,800)

LeBlanc has quietly thrown at a high level this season. Through 27 games (22 starts), he owns an 8-3 record with a 3.72 ERA. He also features a 7.2 K/9 this season. LeBlanc gets a great matchup against the Baltimore Orioles, who lack offensive firepower. He's a -190 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, while throwing in a pitcher friendly stadium.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Joey Votto - C/1B, at PIT ($3,500)

Votto has performed well in his five games since returning to the Cincinnati Reds lineup. In those games, he owns 45% hard-hit and fly ball rates with a 99 mph exit velocity. He gets a matchup against Joe Musgrove tonight, and Votto is a more consistent and a more powerful option against right-handed pitching. Overall, he owns 0.08 wOBA and 0.065 ISO differentials against righties.

Robinson Cano - 2B, vs BAL ($3,700)

Cano continues to make an interesting option as he gets back in the game form. He's hitting .233 with three extra-base hits and four RBIs over his last 10 games. He has also posted a 42% hard-hit rate with a 94 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He gets a great matchup against Alex Cobb tonight, as well.

Justin Turner - 3B, vs NYM ($3,700)

Turner is an option that can always be considered against left-handed pitching. In 2018, he owns a .598 slugging percentage and a .241 ISO against lefties. He possesses 52% hard-hit and fly ball rates with a 96 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days, as well. Turner is also hitting .378 with a .676 slugging percentage and a 1.165 OPS over his last 10 games.

Tim Anderson - SS, vs DET ($3,000)

Anderson has quietly been playing at a high level over his last 10 games. Over that span, he's hitting .293 with eight extra-base hits, six RBIs, and one steal. He gets a solid matchup against Francisco Liriano, who has struggled quite a bit this season. Anderson continues to make a relatively consistent option with tremendous upside.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Mitch Haniger - OF, vs BAL ($3,900)

Haniger has caught fire over his last 10 games, hitting .311 with a .667 slugging percentage and a 1.047 OPS over that span. He has scored fantasy points in each of his last 10 games, and he gets a great matchup against Alex Cobb. Haniger also features 0.009 wOBA and 0.05 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching.

Billy McKinney - OF, vs TB ($3,300)

McKinney has only played in 15 games this season, and he's hitting .370 with a .674 slugging percentage and a 1.128 OPS in those games. He also owns eight extra-base hits (three home runs) and eight RBIs over his last 10 games. McKinney possesses 0.055 wOBA and 0.122 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching, and he gets a matchup against the Tampa Bay bullpen tonight.
