World Cup DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings: Matchday 20

With two games in the Quarter Finals, today's showdowns are France vs Uruguay and Belgium vs Brazil. Due to the multiple games being played, lineups are back to their normal constructions. Below we bring you seven players you should consider as World Cup DFS lineup picks for Matchday 20 (on July 6th, 2018).

Not all are top-tier options, as there is a range of DFS value picks, sleepers and high-risk players mixed in.

Consider all of these players for your DFS lineups; however, at the end of the day, it is always your decision. Good luck, RotoBallers.

WC DFS Forwards to Consider

Neymar - F, Brazil (DK - $11,200, FD - $13,000)

If you are betting on Brazil to win, Neymar is the player to own this slate. Belgium struggled defensively and narrowly avoided a defeat to Japan in the previous round, winning 3-2 after falling 2-0 down to the Asian team. Neymar has played unspectacularly this tournament as he comes back from injury, but he is still a force to be reckoned with and is due for a breakout game against a surprisingly underwhelming Belgian side.

Olivier Giroud - F, France (DK - $6,200, FD - $7,500)

One player who has played the majority of the minutes this tournament but has failed to make an impact so far has been French forward Olivier Giroud. Playing as the center forward with Griezmann and Mbappe supporting him on each wing, Giroud is a dangerous target man for France and is playing a weaker Uruguay defense in this slate. It may be his time to shine, and the value on both sites makes him a perfect Tournament play in today's slate.

WC DFS Midfielders to Consider

Willian - M, Brazil (DK - $7,300, FD - $8,000)

Perhaps the most electric player in Brazil's starting lineup, Willian has made a considerable difference on the pitch over the last few games. Priced modestly on both sites, expect the Brazilian to play well in what could end up being a high-scoring game against Belgium. With both sides boasting powerhouse offenses, Willian becomes more of a Tournament play but should still see ownership levels in GPP formats.

Nacer Chadli - M, Belgium (DK - $4,500, FD - $5,000)

A contrarian play at the position, Nacer Chadli came on off the bench in last round's match against Japan and made a huge difference, eventually leading to the team's victory and advancement through the tournament. Although it is unlikely that the ex-Tottenham winger will start, expect him to be an impact substitute who could have a big effect in how the game against Brazil plays out, making him an excellent Tournament option who will definitely have low ownership levels.

WC DFS Defenders to Consider

Thomas Meunier - D, Belgium (DK - $4,900, FD - $6,500)

Even though a clean sheet may be out of the question against Brazil, having a Belgian full back on the chance that they are able to keep Brazil scoreless is a good idea, especially when that player has the attacking capabilities of Thomas Meunier. Throughout this tournament, we have seen how the Belgian right back gets up the pitch quickly and makes his presence in the final third known. Meunier is perfectly priced on DraftKings and should be locked in to a lineup spot on their site.

Diego Laxalt - D, Uruguay (DK - $4,500, FD - $4,500)

Playing more advanced than a traditional full back and carrying a good amount of attacking responsibilities, Laxalt is fairly priced on both sites and brings the upset upside that makes him a good option in Tournament lineups. With Uruguay expecting to defend for the majority of the match, Laxalt should be heavily involved in his team's defensive actions and could get up the pitch and swing in a few crosses for striker Luis Suarez as well.

WC DFS Goalies to Consider

Thibaut Courtois - G, Belgium (DK - $4,400, FD - $4,500)

It's always a good idea to chase the upside at the goalkeeper position and create value for their price. Therefore, Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is a good option against Brazil despite the fact that Brazil are expected to shoot early and often against their European counterparts. If Courtois is able to keep a clean sheet, he truly has the potential to have a massive impact in your team's overall performance. Regardless, he should have enough saves to be heavily involved and it's a 50/50 chance over whether Belgium wins or not. Therefore, Courtois becomes a good value option on DraftKings who is fairly priced on FanDuel and is one of the better goalkeeper options in this slate.

Good luck this weekend!
