World Cup DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings: Matchday 14

With four games in Group E and F, Monday's showdowns are Sweden vs Mexico, Germany vs South Korea, Brazil vs Serbia, and Costa Rica vs Switzerland. Due to the multiple games being played, lineups are back to their normal constructions. Below we bring you seven players you should consider as World Cup DFS lineup picks for Matchday 14 (on June 27th, 2018).

Not all are top-tier options, as there is a range of DFS value picks, sleepers and high-risk players mixed in.

Consider all of these players for your DFS lineups; however, at the end of the day, it is always your decision. Good luck, RotoBallers.

WC DFS Forwards to Consider

Marco Reus - F, Germany (DK - $8,300, FD - $10,000)

Despite not being fully match-fit, Marco Reus was thrust into a starting role after Germany's shock defeat to Mexico in Week 1. Reus played exceptionally well, scoring the goal that tied the game for the national side. Needless to say, Germany's game against South Korea is of extreme importance to advance from the group, making Reus's involvement almost a must. Expect Reus to have plenty of attacking opportunities and chances to score in tomorrow' game, making his price palatable on FanDuel but a great value on DraftKings.

Ola Toivonen - F, Sweden (DK - $5,300, FD - $7,500)

Last week, Toivonen scored a beautiful goal to give Sweden an early lead against Germany. With a 2-1 loss, however, everything rides on their game against Mexico in tomorrow's matchup. The Swedish team needs a win, so they will turn to their starting center forward in Toivonen in tomorrow's matchup. Therefore, Toivonen is an excellent Tournament play because he is a starting option who will have low ownership percentages on both sites.

WC DFS Midfielders to Consider

Toni Kroos - M, Germany (DK - $8,500, FD - $10,000)

A fantastic free kick from Kroos kept Germany's World Cup hopes alive in last week's game against Sweden as they were able to defeat Sweden 2-1. Kroos is a fantastic option in the midfield despite his high price, as he is a locked-in starter for the German national team who can shoot and pass better than most other players at the tournament. Kroos will have to have a big game in order for Germany to advance from the group, making him a must-own in GPP lineups in tomorrow's game.

Paulinho - M, Brazil (DK - $5,500, FD - $7,500)

The Brazilian center mid has had a quiet tournament up to this point, and his price on DraftKings reflects his limited involvement. However, there is a reason that Paulinho has a goal almost every four international games for his team - he is always an attacking threat no matter where he plays on the field. Brazil need a big game after two very uninspiring formats, making Paulinho a good option for the money on both DraftKings and FanDuel and an excellent Tournament play tomorrow.

WC DFS Defenders to Consider

Jonas Hector - D, Germany (DK - $5,100, FD - $5,000)

With fellow fullback Joshua Kimmich priced very highly on both sites, people are discounting Jonas Hector's ability up the flanks for the national team. Operating more like a wingback than a traditional fullback, Hector will be a provider of several crosses against South Korea tomorrow. Hector is a good bet to start in tomorrow's game and warrants consideration on both sites as he will likely keep a clean sheet and also have a good offensive stat-line when all is said and done.

Antonio Rüdiger - D, Germany (DK - $3,700, FD - $5,000)

Filling in for the suspended Jerome Boateng, Chelsea center back Antonio Rüdiger is a very cheap starting option in tomorrow's slate. On DraftKings, you are banking on a goal from the tall center defender, but the high chance of a clean sheet makes him an enticing option on FanDuel. If you are going for a contrarian lineup in a game where the player is still on the favored team, then Rüdiger is your man in Tournament lineups.

WC DFS Goalies to Consider

Yann Sommer - G, Switzerland (DK - $5,500, FD - 5,000)

Although several players on the Swiss national team have been surrounded by controversy in recent days, the goalkeeping position is as locked-in as ever. Sommer, playing in the Bundesliga, is a good option against a shaky Costa Rica team with few attacking outlets. Expect a clean sheet for the Swiss goalie, which is the most likely outcome in a game that Switzerland is expected to win comfortably.

Good luck this weekend!
