We have a nine game slate today, and there are good options on the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters where you can afford them.

Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/6/18. DFS Forwards to Consider

Nathan MacKinnon - C, COL @ CHI (DK - $7,700, FD- $8,600)

MacKinnon was named first star of this past week and its for a good reason. He has 11 points in his last four games, and is seemingly unstoppable right now, so play him in any spot you can afford him. He is on the top forward line and the first power-play unit, so plenty of ice time, which should benefit him, since he is up against the Blackhawks, who are one of the weakest teams in the league. Really like the Colorado first power-play stack tonight, just a matter of getting up to their expensive prices.

Kyle Connor - W, WPG @ NYR (DK - $5,800, FD - $4,900)

Connor is on the first forward line and the second power-play unit, putting him in a good spot to succeed tonight. He makes more of a GPP option, since he doesn't have the consistency you would want for cash games. He has three points over his last five games, is taking over two shots per game, and can chip in with a blocked shot every now and then. Also going up the Rangers, who are giving up over three goals per game.

DFS Defenders to Consider 

Jared Spurgeon - D, MIN vs CAR (DK - $5,300, FD - $5,200)

Spurgeon is one of the better options when it comes to defense most nights in NHL DFS, and tonight is no different. He has four points over his last five games, and is on the first power-play unit. He is taking about two shots per game, along with blocking over two shots per game. Adding DFS value in multiple categories is always a great thing, and makes a solid cash game option for tonight.

Aaron Ekblad - D, FLA @ TB (DK - $4,800, FD - $5,600)

Ekblad and the Panthers are hot right now, so no reason to fade them when they are scoring goals. He has points in four straight games and is seeing time on the second power-play unit, putting him in a nice spot for GPPs. I would use him in a full stack, to maximize his potential points, in what should be a high scoring game against the Lightning. He is taking over two shots per game, and blocking over one shot per game.

DFS Goalies to Consider

Anton Khudobin - G, BOS vs DET (DK - $8,300, FD - $7,800)

Khudobin is likely to get the start tonight, since Tuukka Rask is dealing with a lower body injury, as he hasn't skated in the past three days. Khudobin is a good cash game option for tonight, since he will be a favorite at home, against a Detroit team, who shouldn't be feared offensively. Khudobin has 14 wins in 24 starts this season, but doesn't see a ton of shots. The Bruins tend to limit the number of shot attempts they allow, which mean fewer chances at saves for their goalie. Not a ton of upside in terms of points, but likely to come away with the win.
