ANALYSIS: Dontrelle Inman had the day of his career on Sunday as the San Diego Chargers squandered away yet another fourth quarter lead. He caught seven balls for 120 yards and one touchdown on a team leading 11 targets. However, do not let this one big game blind you from the truth. The truth being that Inman has only 52 career receptions coming into this game and that he is the Chargers third or fourth option at wide receiver. Remember also that Antonio Gates wasn't playing which would take away some of his targets when he returns.
Realistically, fantasy owners should only pick up Inman if they are in a 14-team league and really need the depth. Look for Inman to come back down to earth in the coming weeks, because even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
