ANALYSIS: Oh how quickly things can change. It wasn't long ago that it looked like Markieff Morris was going to be a non-factor on this team. On Tuesday though, Morris exploded for 30 points on 65% shooting, while notching 11 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and a steal. He did this in 41 minutes and after the game Coach Earl Watson said he will now be the focal point of the Suns' offense.
Morris has the ability to contribute across the board, but more notably in rebounds and blocks. He will also hit shots from downtown occasionally, and is worth scooping up in all leagues now. With Jeff Hornacek out, it looks like Morris will continue to see a strong complement of minutes. There is still a chance he gets moved to another team or just straight up loses his mojo. Until then, though, grab him if available.
