New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz claims that he is no longer in pain from the injured calf that has kept him out of every game thus far this season. He is scheduled to have an MRI on Wednesday to and if all looks good he will be cleared for practice.
This is great news for fantasy football owners who have been holding on to Cruz. If he is available as a free agent in any leagues, you may want to pick him up off waivers. It sounds like he may be very close to returning.
Cruz could return as soon as Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys, but it sounds like he would be more likely to return in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints. Once he gets the green light to play, he can be considered a WR3.
