Steve Smith Sr. Not Retiring After All?

If you own Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. in any dynasty or keeper leagues, you will find this news very interesting. Before the 2015 season began, Smith Sr. announced plans to retire following the season. But now ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley believes the 36-year-old receiver is reconsidering that decision.

"I'm just trying to make it to the airport today, and you're talking about retirement," Smith said, according to ESPN. "I'm just taking one day at a time. I'm just trying to be able to get myself together to get ready to play the next game."

Smith Sr. obviously has plenty left in the tank and is by far the best receiving threat on the Ravens offense. With one more year on his current contract, it sounds very possible that the team may be able to talk him into at least one more season.

Smith Sr. is a low-end WR2 for as long as he's healthy for the rest of this season - and likely next season if he decides to come back in 2016.
